Kachink! Kachink! Kachink! Very fast actions, Ares fires at the SWAT rifleman hit for 2, and another unhit Rifleman, and a Shotgunner.

Damnit, guys...we need to get out of here as soon as possible. I'm going to use this action to grab an M16 and as many clips as I can. Willow Step against any attacks.

And like Rex said, we're NOT going down without a fight!!!

Ares, are you actually kachinking? That is +1 to hit but an exertion, remember?

San, you cannot pick up an M16 without putting the phone down...

Oh heck.. an Agent FINALLY made his mark! Ares, Agent 2 rolls +5 on his shot, for an 18. That hits you! Another sevenm damage to you, as his shot goes through your coat.

Can I just fire for very fast actions as well, rather than kachinking?

Well, err, you can fire them very fast if you DON'T kachink... which way around do you want it?

Ok then! You roll -6 (unlucky first shot), +3, and -2. The -2 is... a 13... hmmm... a Hit for 1. The +3 is a kill.

Now seems as good a time as any to tell you guys that Agent 3 is walking in too, fresh from having lost track of the Philosophy guys...

well since i'm at the armoury Im gonna pick up another shotgun and fire at the three mundanes that shot me.

Ok, that is an action to pick up the fresh gun from the rack. Are you taking a defensive action against Agent 1s' shot?

Oh damn those agents...arg...and if anything happens where I need to talk to Dallas I'll just drop the damn gun and pull out my phone, or he can call one of the others.

And with that I'd like to modify what I posted for this action: Use Gathering of the Clouds to steal me an M16 and open fire -- 3 bursts on that guy that Ares just hit for 1 and 3 bursts at the assault rifle guy hit for 2. Defense will still be Willow Step.

(and I'll keep that quote in mind for my story, Rex...heh...)
