Davon punched Jasmin in the eye. Paul stood agape. "You prissy man slut!" Paul punched his gut and then his face, then he kicked his kneecap hard, and delivered another punch to his face.

Jasmin fell back onto the floor. She covered her eye with one hand and looked up shocked. It throbbed with pain and began to water, she should even open it. The bartender rushed out from behind the bar and grabbed Paul and pushed him away, and then shoved Davon heavily in the other direction. "Both of you, get out! Now!"
He then rushed to Jasmin's side with a pouch of ice. "Let me see." He said as he tried to take her hand away from her eye.

The fight continued outside. A smal crowd gathered to see who won, but it was broken up two "do-gooders" Paul glared at davon.

The bartender was finally able to pry Jasmin's hand away from her eye and placed the eyes on it gently.

"Thanks." She stood up and walked outside, holding the ice to her eye as she looked for Paul.

Paul waited for Jasmin by the front door near his car. "JASMIN!?"

(( do u want her to be in the front or back parking lot? ))

((Up 2 u luv... prefabblyy front...))

She saw Paul at his car and Davon was staring at him with anger and hate. She walked to Paul's car, without giving Davon a glance as she passed.

"Hey honey. How's your eye?" he rubbed the devoloping shiner with his thumb soothingly.

She pulled away from his touch. He meant well, but it hurt even when it wasn't touched. She put the ice back on it. "It hurts."

"I'm sorry I got you into that." he smiled

She shrugged. "What's done is done." She didn't want to see the bruise in the morning, it would look awful. No make up could cover it up. "Can we go back to your house now?" She could feel Davon starring at them even though she wasn't facing him. She didn't want to stay there any longer.

"Sure honey... but there will be questions you may not want to hear." Paul warned.

She wanted to say 'I just got punched in the eye! Give me a break!' But she knew she had to answer them soon or later. She nodded a little and then got into his car.

"And I know you were just beat on, and that'll make it all the worse, but these should be answered now, not later..."

"Beat on?!" She said heatedly as he got in the car and started it. "You call this beat on?! I'm disfigured! There's no way I'll be able to dance until it goes away!" She was making a bigger deal out of it then most would, but she had never been hit before on the face. She then immediately remembered all those times she was backhanded across the face, but that was before she met Paul, and long before she started dancing.

"I-I'm sorry Jasmin... I didn't mean to stike a nerve."

She felt horrible for saying what she did, she was just upset. She looked over to him. "No, I'm the one who should be sorry. I had no right to yell at you like that." She apologized.

"Yes, you did I' being incredibly insensitive..." Alex smiled at apologetically at her.
