Batman Begins Stunt Show at Six Flags!
Source: Six Flags Magic Mountain
April 18, 2005

The legend of the Caped Crusader explodes into "live" action when Six Flags Magic Mountain debuts the new "Batman Begins Stunt Show" based on Warner Bros. Pictures' upcoming Batman Begins summer movie release.

Scheduled for a June 25th premiere, the "Batman Begins Stunt Show" offers an explosive behind-the-scenes look at big Hollywood stunts and special effects.

Like the movie, the "Batman Begins Stunt Show" explores the origins of the Batman legend and the Caped Crusader's emergence as a force for good in Gotham City.

Spotlighting the top stunt professionals in Southern California, the 25-minute live stage show features state-of-the-art pyrotechnics, sound, lighting and special effects, highly technical stunts, karate fights and a spectacular, never-been-done-before jump featuring the brand new Batmobile.

"This is the most elaborate stunt show we have ever developed here at Six Flags Magic Mountain and it's sure to be a big crowd pleaser," stated Del Holland, Six Flags Magic Mountain vice president and general manager. "We were fortunate to have been able to collaborate with Warner Bros. Pictures to capture the excitement of the movie and bring Southern Californian's the 'Batman Begins' experience live at Six Flags. We've incorporated exact replicas of several of the film's high-tech toys and weapons including the all-new Batmobile."

Playing several times a day throughout the season in the Batman Action Theatre, the "Batman Begins Stunt Show" set features spectacular 45-foot-tall facades of Wayne Tower, Gotham National Bank and City Hall, plus exciting show elements including motorcycle chases, crashing helicopters, ninja stunts and a first ever look at the new Batmobile.

Six Flags Magic Mountain, the Xtreme Park, is located at 26101 Magic Mountain Parkway, Valencia, north of Los Angeles off Interstate 5 at the Magic Mountain Parkway exit. The Park is open daily at 10 a.m. Closing hours vary. For information, call 661-255-4111 or SixFlags.com.

Batman Begins Moved Up Two Days
Source: ComingSoon.net
April 22, 2005

ComingSoon.net reports that Warner Bros. Pictures has moved up Batman Begins two days to Wednesday, June 15th instead of June 17th. This brings it a bit closer to Fox competitor "Mr. and Mrs. Smith" but further away from Paramount's "War of the Worlds".

Okay did anyone else see the the little teaser trailer or whatever that was the other night (like 2 nights ago)? If so, does anyone wanna enlighten me on to as why he'd need to spraypaint his costume black? I mean he is multi-millionaire Bruce Wayne. I would imagine he can get get it custom made, or at least buy the material for it and make it himself (Or make Alfred do it) 🤨

.....the explanation would involve spoilers.

Uh...its simpler? lol

New Batman Trailer!
The romantic side of The Dark Knight.
April 26, 2005 - Katie Holmes, who plays A.D.A. Rachel Dawes in Batman Begins, appeared yesterday on MTV's Total Request Live where she exclusively debuted the new trailer for Batman.

It reveals more of the plot, opening with Morgan Freeman's Lucius Fox showing Christian Bale's Bruce Wayne the "toys" that will become Batman's arsenal. There are plenty of action scenes, lots of Batmobile shots and some glimpses of Ken Watanabe as Ra's Al Ghul and Cillian Murphy as The Scarecrow.

The emphasis of the trailer, however, is clearly on selling Batman Begins to women and as a date movie. By this point, Warner Bros. clearly understands they've won over the fanboys so they're trying to widen that all-important opening weekend's demographics by playing up the film's romantic angle.

We see Bruce returning to Gotham and being reunited with Rachel and then later, as Batman, rescuing her from danger. Two good-looking young people in love and adventure. That sounds very "boffo" to me ...

Batman Begins opens June 17th.

The trailer can be seen HERE

After seeing the new trailers for this film,I am getting so psyched for this film.It appears that they are FINALLY going to make a real kick ass Batman movie. They really look like they know what they are doing this time around and unlike Batman 89 they appear to have a competent director that understands that Batman mythos. 💃 I could not get excited for Batman 89 when it came out,but I am so excited and psyched out for Batman Begins. 🙂

I'm glad they're taking new villians from the comic book. Glad to see how finally Bruce Wayne became Batman in a GOOD movie.

do you spend your whole day waiting for an opportunity to bash batman 89?

I think it will be awesome to actually see Batman from the begining and not just starting in the middle of it like the other movies did. I can't wait for June 17th.

Batman Fighting Joker Next?

Is Batman going to face Joker and Two-Face in the next two sequels to Batman Begins?

Batman Begins screenwriter David Goyer openly spoke of his plans for future Bat-sequels in an interview that appears in the latest issue of Premiere Magazine, according to Empire Online.

Essentially confirming longtime Web rumors, Goyer is said to have advised the mag:

"The next one would have Batman enlisting the aid of [Jim] Gordon and [D.A. Harvey] Dent in bringing down the Joker... but not killing him, which is a mistake they made in the first one. ... In the third, the Joker would go on trial, scarring Dent in the process" and thus creating Two-Face.

So maybe fans will see Guy Pearce as Harvey Dent in the upcoming sequels?

Hm...Guy Pearce would be a good Dent now that I think about it. What about Jack, who do you guys think should play him?
