Upcoming PotC 2 Movie - Trailers, Previews and Gossip! [merged]

Hey I thought I'd let you know that the rumor for the auditions for the 4 10-15 year old girls is more than likely false, they are still writing the script and the first potc had several versions of the script so you can cross your fingers...but i wouldn't bet on it 🙁

I only saw it from a website, but I believe that because they are still writing the script, they idea may have been tossed aside, a young person like an 11-15 year old has to have a lot of liability, (on the studio's part) for insurance reasons, if he or she gets hurt, they get in trouble...i dunno maybe its because im envious im too old...19 and counting

Well, there are actors that are kids, thousands of them, think, any spy movies with kids, and plus there are a lot of movies with kids, that are adventure movies, like POTC, and plus THESE ARE THE MOVIES LUV! They have lot's of tricks, and for them not to get hurt, that's what stunts are for. Remember when Jack and Will were fighting at the " BROWN carpender ship"? Did you think Johnny and Orlando were really fighting? NO the stunts did that, and remember when Jack dived into the water to rescue Elizabeth, that was Johnny's stunt too. Trust me movies, are so over protected, and by the way in POTC Kiera was only 17, atill a kid. Thats how it is in the movies, and I know it's hard to see when you're watching the movie, but you can get all the information from the POTC DVD, second disk.

no they were really fighting in Brown's Carpenter Shop.. it took alot of time for them to learn and everything.. except for the throwing part that was added by special effects✅

so.....i havn't watch POTC in like a week....i might start having withdrawl symptoms.....

I think it will have a great deal to do with the monkey........

We don't know if he actually did keep the coin or not.... I dont think the next movie will have much to do with the old tale.

I read that the writer had a FEW MORE tales to tell of Jack Sparrow.

Though I am sure someone will want vengeance on him for the deaths.

Gore Verbinski is onboard to direct Pirates of the Caribbean 2, with Terry Rossio and Ted Elliott currently writing the script for the project.

Maybe those are the people that you all need to find....for those of you who are interested in auditioning!! 😄

Well...we know that it is going to have alot to do with another ship! Supposedly it will have to do with the first ship that ever had came into the carribean.

Also...the monkey is a key player......he may just cause mischief...or he may go straight to the Capt's daughter/son/family and notify he/she/them what has happened.

Possibly maybe someone from that family owns the first ship that entered the carribean????

I think a good plot would be with Bootstrap Bill. Let's say Will is kidnapped a day before he marries Elizabeth, Elizabeth of course frantic tries to get help from Norrington, and he refuses because he is still a little sore from Elizabeth picking Will not him. So Elizabeth enlists the help of Jack, which she is reluctant to do, and together they try and find Will, only to find that it was Bootstrap who took Will. Bootstrap needs Will to find a treasure....same type of scenario as POTC 1 however with some new characters and twists...they had a hit with this movie when everyone thought it would be a flop...i don't think they'll trail too far off course...

that is actually a REALLY good theory!! definitely possible too....b/c it never said that Bootstrap actually blew up....just that he was in the bottom of the ocean....kind of like how they always left Jack on an island...and never knew how he got off.

Ummm..... i know almost for a fact (well, im just going on a hunch but....) first of all, they aren't even done with the script, so how would he know??**Connections**??? and plus, even if Mr. Cheekbones himself did know the plot, why would he share the whole thing with the world?? Doesn't he want to keep it a surprise? And I don't think Selma Hyack would play Barbossa's daughter....they don't even look alike one little bit. Plus, what is it with Elizabeth getting kidnapped by pirates??? I mean, geeze!! I think by now she can kinda kick or yell or something, as to not go through the whole "come on, lets go get her!!"s done by the 2 hotties of the movie.

HRMMM.......two secrets...I wonder if the tatoos in the deleted scenes have anything to do with it?

There are two more tales of Jack Sparrow to come...so we know we are getting a POTC 3 as well! YAY!!

My god, Johnny is really getting lucky on this one. But what if it sucks like the Dumb and Dumber sequel? I will HATE the writers for ever more. And they better not call it
"Pirates of the carribbean 2: The treasure of the lost abyss" or whatever it should be.

good thinking about the tatoos, i think his flashbacks should explain some of those hahahahahahaha just thinking of Jack waking up from a flashback! 😆

😂 funny! yeah.....those tatoos were pretty awesome and I am sure they have SOME sort of meaning.......

yeah he got REALLY lucky! and he plays the part soooooooo well. He reminded me of captain morgan(on the liquor bottle) from the way he would stumbly walk!
