😄 😄
Well thats what most people who dont know LoTR (because how, otherwise, would they say something like that??) say if you tell them what you do in your free time... "what, you learn a totally invented language? Nonsense!"
But I think it IS useful - just think of, for example, Esperanto 😄 also an invented language and so many internet pages are given in English - and Esperanto.
I think Sindarin IS useful, at least more useful than French or Latin as I dont think I'll ever move to France (omg no) or to ancient rome 😄 and the foreign words for which it is useful - well I dont have to learn all that grammar for understanding them. 😄 😄

By the way, 'vedui is NOT Sindarin but Isdira 😉 which is not created by Tolkien (in fact, "Vedui' il'er" means "greetings everybody"😉
But most of the language is just something like sort of copy of Tolkien's Eldarin which makes it a bit annoying
for example, take the sentence "uuma dela amin meron" which is something like "don't be afraid, my friend" (or "no fear, my friend"😉... uu is the same as Sindarin ú- which means "not"; dela is like S. "del" or "deloth" ("daedeloth"😉 which means "fear"; amin (or anim) would be sindarin "for me" and meron (like mellon) is an old form of the male sindarin word for "friend".
Isdira of course is also just a mix of the sounds of Sindarin.
Learning Elvish
Hi u all, does anybody knows at least a little of Quenya, like how is the pronunciation and the structure of the words, because I want to learn to a little, like a few words(not the entire language); so I want that somebody tell me want ca I do, how is the easiest way to learn, links where I can find some info.. etc..
There are many types of elvish, but the most common ones are Sindarin and Quenya; Quenya is only rarely used in the movies, there are only few sentences:
(Elrond) Nai tiruvantel ar varyuvantel i Valar tielyanna nu vilya.
(Saruman to Caradhras) Cuiva nwalca Carnirassë! Nai yarvaxëa rasselya taltuva ñotto-carinnar!
and (Gandalf) Ando Eldarinwa a lasta quettanya, Fenda Casarinwa!
In the soundtracks, there's also little Quenya;
"Hlasta!
Quetis Ilfirimain:
Corma turien te
Corma tuvien
Corma tultien te
Huines se nutien.
Tercáno Nuruva.
Tuvien Corma tultien te
Huinesse nutien
Corma turien te Corma."
"A Olórin i yáresse
Mentaner i Númeherui
Tírien i Rómenóri,
Maiaron i oiosaila
Manan elye etevanne
Nórie i malanelye?"
"Ilfirin nairelma nauva i nauva
Ilfirin nairelma ar ullume nucuvalme
Nauva i nauva melme nóren sina nairelma"
"Ai! laurie lantar lassi súrinen,
yéni únotime ve ramar aldaron!
yéni ve linte..." and "Ar sindarnóriello caita mornie,
Ar ilye tier unduláve lumbule..." (Galadriel's Song from the book)
twice "Et Eärello Endorenna utúlien.
Sinome maruvan ar Hildinyar tenn' Ambar-metta!" (Elendil's words)
and in may it be the lines "Mornië utúlië, Mornië alantië"
"Cuiva Olórin
Nárendur
Tira nottolya
Tulta tuolya
An mauya mahtie
Ter oiomornie
Ter ondicilyar.
Mettanna.
Nurunna!"
The rest of the elvish stuff is Sindarin (the non-elvish languages in the film are Black Language, Dwarvish, Rohirric, Adûnaic)
If you want to learn a bit Quenya, I think the best way is ardalambion: http://www.uib.no/People/hnohf/qcourse.htm
It's a bit hard and loads of text, but well explained and always intersting.
That's the best site to learn all the tongues of Arda.

Hm still searching for that
You cant really learn these because only few words are known (most for Adûnaic, Khuzdul some names and Black language, I think, only two sentences)
But you find everything that is known about them on www.ardalambion.com
David Salo invented the languages called neo-khuzdul and neo-black-speech; they are used for the sentences and lyrics in the movie, like
"Shre nazg golugranu kilmi-nudu
Ombi kuzddurbagu gundum-ishi
Nugu gurunkilu bard gurutu
Ash Burz-Durbagu burzum-ishi
Daghburz-ishi makha gulshu darulu.
Ash nazg durbatulûk, ash nazg gimbatul,
ash nazg thrakatulûk agh burzum-ishi krimpatul
Daghburz-ishi makha gulshu darulu."
"Gû kîbum kelkum-ishi, burzum-ishi. Akha - gûm-ishi ashi gurum.
Nubin sherkuk, rakhizinash, matizinashûk, matizin Umbrûk."
"Nêbâbîtham Magânanê
Nêtabdam dâurad
Nêpâm nêd abârat-aglar
îdô Nidir nênâkham
Bârî 'n Katharâd" (my absolute fav 🙂 )
"Urus ni buzra!
Arrâs talbabi fillumâ!
Ugrûd tashniki kurdumâ!
Lu! Lu! Lu!
Urkhas tanakhi!" (dwarvish)
"Irkat-lukhud ma
katabrikihu
Ulfat-atam ma
tanakhi uduhu
bin-nât aznân tarsisi
Bazar udu agânî-furkhîn
Gurd!
Ma nîd sakhu!
Ma satf unkhai!
Atkât zatagrafizu
Zatablugi sulluzu" (also dwarvish)
"Kilmin malur ni zaram kalil ra narag. Kheled-zâram ... Balin tazlifi."
"Ishkhaqwi ai durugnul."
Black Speech:
"Gû kîbum kelkum-ishi, burzum-ishi. Akha - gûm-ishi ashi gurum."
Here you find everything about Adûnaic (taken from Lowdham's Report) http://www.uib.no/People/hnohf/adunaic.htm - maybe some will recognize the word among my fav movie quotes though it is not a movie quote... AVALÔIYADA...
dwarvish: http://www.uib.no/People/hnohf/khuzdul.htm
black speech: http://www.uib.no/People/hnohf/orkish.htm
I know no better English Sindarin course than the stuff on the same page... I found some very interesting German ones with a real (ok, virtual) book, tests and everything, but nothing in english.
Writings? There are no known writing systems for Adûnaic and nothing but Tengwar for Black Speech; the Dwarves used runes also found in the appendices to LoTR (and easier to learn than the Tengwar)
