No, it ISN'T just the sword which can hurt them. It is the king - those from the bloodline of Numenor. After all, it was the king who put the curse on them 🙂 And remember, the King is the only person able to wield that sword. So no matter what you say, he could have kicked 'em in the nuts if he so felt like 🙂

and why the hell didint aragorn convince them to storm Mordor, they would have killed that orc army at the black gate like shit
Actually, Aragorn at first only assigned them to help defende Minas Tirith and then he'd let them free, and since they did that he had to keep his word. If Aragorn didn't keep his promise the Dead Army would not've helped him and maybe even went against them.
I did not really like them in the film.
Why were they made in that stupid liquid-green-colour when Tolkien names them "the Grey Host"?!?
Looked silly when they killed the others and flooded into the city. I also didnt really like the dead king's face and the way he reacted to Aragorn's speech - too much movie-like and not LoTR style.
The only scenes I really liked where when the green city appeared, when they arrived with these absolutely cool corsair ships and when they, released, were carried away by the wind.
hmmm i guess they thought green would stand out better, and would be easier to see. AND besides we always see ghosts in white/gray THe green was a cool change.
Remember they were cursed for fighting for gondor, so at minas tirith they fought for gondor. When Aragorn and company had gone to the black gate , they were gonna fight for something else. SO aragorn displayed his true nature as king and held his promise to them.
