Batman Vs. Blade

Started by WindDancer3 pages

I like both Batman and Blade. I really woulnd't want them to go on a face off. I much rather see them as team. But then again we don't know how they would react to each other. Remenber the Batman and Spawn team up comic book a few years ago? Ouch!

Blade's got the strength but Batman's no pushover. And besides, Batman has take down lots of metahumans in hand-to-hand combat. It will be close however.

Blade has the edge over Batman. They both have gadgets, they both know martial arts (although Batman knows all forms of combat), but Balde has vampiric strength and regeneration.

I don't even know who blade is...

Batman would win he would gather all the info about Blade he could then put it in his computer. The computer would then tell Batman the best way to stop Blade.

Batman is thr greatest super hero of all time.
And I dare anyone to argue with me otherwise

I accept your dare! Shadowcat is the greatest! Yes, Batman has skill, but he is only mortal. It's possible to have brainpower and superpower rolled into one.

No...Batman is about 100 billion times better hero than Shadowcat.

batman ftw for now, he has more gadgets to pullout his belt..

Oh god.. Batman would stomp in this fight.

Batman has a weakness for dealing with magic. He can't stand it.

Wut?

Blade may be stronger, however Batman will put him down after a nice fight

Wut?

He doesn't like dealing with magical issues because it makes him uncomfortable. He likes dealing with tech.

Okay and?

On a scale of 1 to 10 of magicalness with 1 being a baseline human and 10 being the Spectre, Blade is like a 2 or 3.

His discomfort with Magic didn't stop him from trying to batkick the Spectre.

LOL if you say so.

What? The origin of Blade's powers might be semi-mystical in nature, but if he's not disappearing into clouds of smoke and bats and not shooting fire from his hands its not going to fluster Batman at all.

Spectre shows up in Gotham. Batman disapproves of the Spectre trying to muscle in on his turf. Batman tries to kick Spectre. Spectre actually pretends to be hurt so as not to hurt Batman's feelings (no really).

That's the context. If Batman isn't afraid to kick God's Avenging Angel in the face, he won't be afraid to tangle with a quasi-Dhampir.

His equipment. He had a sword that pawned a duke of hell and an expert in science couldn't understand some of his equipment.

The point is it doesn't prove his competence in areas of magic that just proves hes brave.

Was this expert Batman level or greater?

Perhaps not, but your original point made no mention of his competence with dealing with it, only his comfort with dealing with it.

what relevance's does batman being uncomfortable with magic have in this match up?

Can't say for sure, but I doubt he's inferior. He used to be a golden age character but his recent feats are quite impressive eg going back in time to give birth to himself.

He was uncomfortable because he didn't like dealing with it. Superman stated the JLA needed a magic expert, Aquaman cut in and volunteered. Batman stated that he was fine with it ( his tone was "**** that shit let him handle it I don't want nothing to do with it"😉, Batman is a control freak if he felt that he could do better he would have. Also none of his counter measures utilised magic.
