Tsunade's going to do shit all, get beaten and then she's going to get the Hinata treatment from her rabid fans, where they claim that even though she did shit all, because she did it to PeinMadara, it's therefore impressive.

Tsunade sucks. Her martial arts ability are basic as ****, and she's slow.

I agree with all of the above. There is a shred of "hope" that she does something awesome, though.

Also, Hinata got her ass thoroughly handed to her....BUT....she lasted longer than some (most?) Konoha Jonin. That's the impressive part. But the only reason she did was due to her being like Naruto and not giving up. Her problem? Not having a supa dupa heal-bot tailed beast.

She didn't really. It only felt that way because Pain wanted to hear what she had to say I guess. The second Pain decided to attack, Hinata went down just like any other ninja.

Yeah, she didn't do "well" against Pain at all. She attacked, and got one-shot.

Well, it's not really a detractor against Hinata, seeing as Shinra Tensei can take out Giant-ass toads as well.

Indeed. It doesn't make her look weak. It just doesn't make her look special at all when it comes to combat. We have literally never seen anything to make us think Hinata would be an actually good fighter. Doesn't mean she's not just doesn't mean she is.

Still, she had balls for jumping in to fight a dude that had leveled her village and had just beaten down their only chance for victory. I think the anime extends her 'fight' with Pain, which is why DDM might have said she lasted long.

You guys need to do a better job of reading between the lines. Hinata let Pein own her so that Naruto would go beast mode and become a hero to the village... she's the very definition of a down ass b!tch.

Yeah, the anime did extend Hinata's fight with Pain, making it more resemble a fight.

I looked it up on youtube. I could not find the full fight in any sort of decent quality.

i will give her props for being a trooper cause she gets left half dead in all her fights..with the top ranked character in the arc no doubt. with confidence she'd really be a beast on the battlefield.

Well to be fair, Hinata doesn't get good showings because, like you said, she basically only fights the strongest or one of the strongest characters in the arc, lol.

... Except that White Zetsu thing.
