Gold was used for trading by Sunagakure in times of economic turmoil. If he could produce it at will, I don't think Suna would enter a state of economic turmoil in the first place.

If it could be produced at will, it's not super-valuable. Supply and demand and all that, a steady supply means less value, he'd have to be careful not to flood the market.

It may also be he can make it, but not all that you see in one go, rather building it up over time.

yup, which means the nagato/itachi fight is in maybe 5 episodes max

Meh, I'd rather see the Mizukage vs. Division 4 battle.

Assuming he had a decent understanding of the economy (and given that he's a Kage, it's likely), I doubt he would flood the market with the gold he produced. But I also don't think he would only trade it in times of severe distress.

Meh, I don't think he can make it, at least not in the way most elements are made by ninja. Magnet-Release is seemingly based solely on control over a material, unlike most other Nature Transformations which involve both creation & control.
On the other hand, perhaps he had a way to make Gold Dust using other raw materials, much like Gaara makes Sand, and he possibly 'summons' it.

Yea, seems likely. There was also talk about using village resources to further develop his jutsu.

gold is an element; the man's power is said to be magnetic so you have to assume he's drawing the gold from a source and manipulating it

imo kishi just had him manipulate gold dust cause of the properties of gold. he needed something that could be denser than sand to justify his ability to prevent the shukaku from devastating suna on his lonesome, and then he needed something to be scattered around the battlefield for the trollkage to be beaten with cause of it's lower melting point than the silica around. his power is just plot convenience to me

Since it's magnet release, presumably while the 3rd is Ferromagnetic, his is Diamagnetic.

Yes I know, as I pointed out in this part: "Magnet-Release is seemingly based solely on control over a material, unlike most other Nature Transformations which involve both creation & control."
Gold can still be 'created' from certain mineral compounds. The only reason I suggested it is because Gaara is supposedly similar to him.

Considering he's only appeared in 4-5 chapters, yeah, I'd say his power was extremely convenient to plot progression.

You guys are missing the point. What's stupid isn't the unexplained powers of the fourth Kazekage. What's stupid is the fact that Gaara defeated the most awesome Kage ever. Nothing justifies that!

What's stupid is *we still don't know Gaaradad's name!*

Bro, Gaara has no eyebrows.

Lee using chakra, jigsaw shaped chakras, and a Giant flying bird. Kewl.

Hah, I like Kurama's little 'you suck, Kushina and Minato!'.

Also the group shot with all the bunny ears is kinda scary ^^

^ Yes, I liked that part. I guess he now thinks of Naruto as his son, what with the way he's praising him.

Giant flying mother****ing birds. Kurama's budy-buddy relation with Naruto has become more fun to watch too.

😖niff: Madara!

I like how they explained the ability- it's Kurama chakra molded by a Uzumaki with Minato's skill at shaping. Without all three it couldn't be done.

Madara going down like a chump is epic as always

*Opens chapter*

*Sees Neji*

Christ, we're still talking about him?

Everyone: Madara is so strong! How can the heroes oppose him!?

Apparently Rock Lee kicks him.

Guy vulnerable to taijutsu. Amp your taijutsu expert.

...

Oh shit.

If they severed the control that means the Juubi is gonna go apeshit. haermm

Hopefully the juubi transforms into something actually menacing cause right now perfect susano is in the lead.it should be a god type character that doesn't need a trainer with 4 badges to control. Shit is ridiculous

Chapter wasn't that bad, however I rather see what sasuke and co are up to to be honest

Back to bed.....
