Everyone was able to keep up with Naruto when they went in for the strike, so I think it is safe to say that Naruto wasn't moving at his bijuu-dama blitzing speeds.
Or I can be a dick and say PIS. 😛 After all, Kakashi could have easily Kamui'd Lee, and told Lee to bisect Tobi, the dude who killed Neji.

They ran together until the end, there...in which case, only Lee and Naruto attacked. So the fast attack did not happen until after the gaymantic bird love shit.

Every single moment of every single second is PIS because Madara can flatten the whole area with a asteroid and Tobi can go intangible while the dust settles (and take the jubi with him).
Madara will respawn and Tobi can pop back.

He has, if I recall right, never transported something that huge lol.
And they would lose the connection, meaning they'd have to fight with the Juubi to get back on lol.
And then of course there is the fact that they're cocky sons of bitches who think they'll win regardless. I.e Cell basically sealed his fate by not just blowing up Earth once it became apparent that Trunks couldn't beat him.
