Kishi needs to keep track of what his characters say. Last chapter Madara almost let it slip that he had the Sharingan but in this one it seems that he just awakened it. Wouldn't be so bad if the chapters weren't so close.
Other than that it was pretty decent.

Tobirama being the one who killed Izuna is a nice touch but it seems that Izuna also sealed his fate by not letting go of his grudge. After all had they made peace right there then Hashirama could have treated the injury, possibly saving the kid's life.

I don't think they were kids at that moment. They were men at least in their 20s or early 30s.

I think he might've just been proud that he could eventually awaken one before. Though poor phrasing in any case.

I don't see why it couldn't be possible for Madara to awaken the Sharingan just before his penultimate meeting with Hashirama as friends, and then reveal it to those 5 at the end of their final meeting.
right, just because those guys assumed it doesn't mean its true.
and yeah, it's entirely possible, Madara decided to wait until that moment to do the reveal. and if he did take Izuna's eyes while he was still alive, then he must have had one hell of a reason aside from simply wanting to win, assuming that this is the case.

We all know the story this "light" was fading from madera, so he stole his brothers eyes (izunas) to bring the light back. His brother died in the process. I'm guessing madera is just playing a mind f on him so he can kill his brother.
Or he just completly lied about the whole thing and just took his brothers eyes and didnt want the uchia to seem to die so easily.
