Except Madara alone knows when exactly his Sharingan was awakened. The fact that he himself never implied or stated that cutting his ties with Hashirama is what caused him to awaken his Sharingan, is what hurts your argument. Not saying you're definitely wrong, but that you might be.

The filler anime got lame latest episode. Naruto saves day/beats Sound Four. Neji, Shika, Kiba, and Choji are beaten up. Instead of giving them some kind of good showing they just waste three episodes of build up to have Naruto go oneshot everything.
To be fair Naruto is leagues above his peers so it is realistic.
