The chapter was fun, but I felt trolled. LOL@Sasuke wanting to become Hokage and Minato pulling out Kyubi mode out of his ass.

Can see what was going through Naruto's head, what with his realationship with him and Itachi's words in his head. The others though? Seemed to be too calm about the missing-nin, village traitor guy who sided with every major antagonist.. simple shock and acceptance doesn't really cut it

Sakura saying she is being "holding back" all this time made me laugh out loud - paraphrasing of course

All that made be think of was a sage mode or Tsunade+ strength and healing abilities (which she's need to become relevant with Naruto and Sasuke).. and that would bring her whole pointlessness in the war so far into question.

Well, *unlike* Sage or Kyuubi, when a Yin seal is empty, it's empty. So you don't want to overuse it.

Yea, it is odd, but they are all professional assassins. Sakura tried to kill him too.

That and she's been taking the role of healer for the majority of the war. It is best to save it until it would be most helpful(Naruto powered up the Alliance before so it was not needed).

And I'm still not seeing everyone just letting Sasuke off the hook. I mean Karin did it but she sucks. Sakura and Ino on the other hand are mostly just curious why he is there. Besides Sasuke can stand trial after the world ending super monster has been taken care of.

Sakura looked like she got over it.

The rest? Yeah. I want to see what Sasuke can do with his EMS.

Between a missing-nin who says he wants to save their village with a former Hokage vouching for him, and a primordial monster that could vaporize them in an instant, who do you think they would be more concerned about?

Yeah. Needs moar Hashirama-Madara interaction though.

Hashirama is epic telling Madara to wait his turn like a alpha.

Actually, given his parallels to Madara, it'd be fitting if he became Hokage seeing as how Madara was going to be nominated for the position but never got that far due to prejudice and mistrust.
Though yeah, Naruto's the one who should be Hokage.
So, I'm calling it now, Sasuke and Naruto fight over the Hokage title with Sakura going to the loser as a consolation. That, or Sasuke realizes what it means to be Hokage, wtfpwns Naruto, and shags Sakura & Hinata. vin

I wouldn't mind at all if Sasuke became Hokage. It'd be a nice twist and from the looks of it Sasuke's out of his psycho phase so I think it'd be only fair for the last of the Uchiha to get the title of Hokage. Naruto can get the 7th spot after him if it's available in the future.

If he does become Hokage, it'd show us that the ninja world has started to change. Granted the ninjas of Konoha dislike him not because he's an Uchiha, but because he previously wanted to wipe them out, but still.

Best chapter in awhile and that's not saying the past few weeks haven't been good.

I was wondering how Sasuke would fight Naruto after he decided to aid Konoha. Should've seen it coming. I do wish Kishi gave a better reason for Sasuke to aid the village especially with Orochimaru's help of all people..

Now if he just wants to be Hokage then he could've done it 100 chapters ago.

The Minato thing was cool, he might even challenge Hashirama for top Hokage. And speaking on the first, he's an hilarious dude.

The entire series would be ruined for me if Naruto doesn't become hokage; but sadly, i can see it happening since Kishi likes to replay themes. That would be like Hashi/Madara all over again, with Naruto encouraging the village to forgive his friend and stepping aside so Sasuke can be hokage.

Series end: They collectively beat Juubi and Madara. Then they invite Sasuke to a celebration party and, SKTAB! Kunai to the back of the neck from Sakura. "This time I won't hesitate."

Really the only way I can see Sasuke becoming Hokage is if Naruto dies in this fight since otherwise the fans would throw a freaking riot.

But I have to admire Kishi's ability to just say **** it and drop bombshells.
