- kakashi gets promoted to jonin and minato orders the team seperate after one last mission.

- just like sasuke/naruto and neji/lee, kakashi is the genius and obito is the screw up, then rin is the medical nin. kakashi believes that ninja should be left behind to accomplish the mission at all costs (due to his fathers reluctance to leave his teammates resulting in a failed mission and him being ostracized which then led to suicide), obito has the opposite opinion.

- while minato rapes tons of ninja outside, obito decides to help rin who was captured, kakashi went on with his on business but then later decided that his father was right in helping his teammates so comes to the rescue.

- when he gets to the location of the fight, the enemy ninja sets of a rock slide. obito pushes kakashi out of the way, so instead of kakashi, the boulder crushes half of obito's body, then as he's dying he offers up his remaining sharingan as a late present to kakashi for making it to jonin, rin performs the operation. then more rocks finish him off. kakashi then owns the ninja hard.

it's all kakashi's fault... 🙁

Just throwing this out there but does anyone think that the ability that itachi gave to naruto is
A)an ability to fight genjutsu
B) his shadow clone explosion technique.

Shadow clone explosion times a hundred. Now that would be a great trick for Naruto to learn.

I think it's a way to fight genjutsu. That's Naruto's only real problem, and its the best plot device to have him defeat it since Sasuke's been using a lot of genjutsu lately.

Genjutsu resistance wouldn't hep much against Sasuke though because even then Sasuke is still much faster and has a bigger variety of jutsu.

what do you mean gave him?

Itachi gave him some type of power by hitting him I believe.

speaking of techniques, what else did Jiraya teach Naruto during those two years??
