I think that's why I liked the chapter as much as I did. Seeing the 3rd with his Nilo Staff was exactly what I wanted.

They need Tsunade and the other Kage, along with Orochimaru but we're finally making baby steps.

I honestly don't know what the current Kage can do. They couldn't even give Madara a decent fight, what could the possibly hope to achieve against the Obito?

Emotional chapter is what is was. It was sufficient imo.

Basic chapter, hopefully things will pick up momentum now that a time limit has been set.

So, thanks to Naruto's chakra, Sasuke's Susano'o now has legs, not unlike Madara's.

Why can't it be Sakura or Tenten? Hell I'd even settle for Kiba or Shino (only because Kishi doesn't seem to care about Shino much anyways).

agreed. out of the Konoha 11 or whatever number it is now, Shikamaru is probably the most popular. sure hope he doesn't kick the bucket or else Kishi is gonna have a lot of upset fans complaining their asses off. at least the current kage are back in action, but I doubt they'll be able to do much against that damn tree.

Neji dies, people either don't care, or they are sad. Kakashi could be dead, nobody says anything. Five Kages could be dead, nobody really cares. But Shikamaru may be dead and uproar galore.
