His case is kinda an odd one. He's resurrected as his old form, but his old form's limit is lack of endurance, and Edo has no endurance limit, so I assume he's doing things more akin to his in-his-prime stuff since even if it'd drive him to what would be 'exhaustion' his edo body recovers.

So I think it's a case where due to removing the endurance limit, he benefits more from Edo than almost anyone else. He's not fighting at his old-self level.

Heck, Chunin arc Sarutobi would probably be falling over dead after doing something like five large-scale jutsu using four clones each obviously with a lot of chakra in them!

One would think that the hint from the titles he's been given: The Professor, The Strongest Hokage, and The God of Shinobi would be enough to back up a SSSS rank.

That does not appear to be how it works. The ET bodies appear to take time to recover chakra even though it is infinite. I think a better label would be "unlimited chakra" but their the container for their chakra is only as large as it was when they were alive (and at which point in time their bodies were revived).

The attack Sarutobi did was not that huge. Just enough to counter. IMO, the Sarutobi that fought Oro would be halfway drained from that. That's pretty huge, being halfway drained.

But, his bodies will gather chakra, gradually, bringing him back to full stamina, again. I don't know how gradual but there does appear to be a limit on how fast it recovers, meaning, it is not instant.

Edit - I believe I pointed this out, before. But, if an ET body was smart, it would recover to full chakra, create a shadow clone, have both new bodies recover to full chakra, and repeat. Until you have so many damn full powered ET bodies that any jutsu is possible. Even a biju blast of monstrous scale.

Fuuck, you could even have a shadow clone go off and do just that: shadow clone itself and recover tons of chakra in the new bodies while the real ET body fights.

Then, you come back with a stupid powerful army of ET shadow clones. top lel.

Being able to recover with some time means he can afford to do big stuff. Without that recovery, doing a move like this would drastically shrink his options even if he had a rest.

and then laugh some more. it'd probably be the most out-of-left-field move Kishi would ever do. but kinda disappointed that both Naruto and Sasuke are on the verge of death; I had thought they had some kind of plan up their sleeves.

Be extremely happy. This series is superior without the bullshit of Naruto and Sasuke.

These "tease" of them dying is amateur stuff but at least the rest of the chapter was readable.

Huh. I just noticed that I really do want to see Sasgay become Hokage. His reasons are a lot stronger than Naruto's are really, and an Uchiha outright deserves the title after all the shit that went down with them.

I want Sasuke to pull a Oro and create his own village.

This is all true. Only thing is, it would be really odd for everyone to agree to it after all Sasuke did. Especially with how Naruto is the village's golden child now and everyone knows he always talked about being Hokage. If Sasuke did become Hokage it would probably be because Naruto changes his mind and bows out, maybe convincing the village that Sasuke should be Hokage.
