At least Gai gets aknowledged.Still, I almost don't care about Madara now. End it fast Kishi.
Edit: You know, f_ck this. I won't read the rest of the manga, hope you guys that see it through enjoy it more than I do.
Lol my sentiments exactly only thing is i cant stop reading it until its done because then i would feel like i wasted all these years reading naruto without even seeing the end. I was literally in 9th grade when i started reading and watching im in college now i have to finish.
Even though the longer it goes the more disappointed i am with the overall story... Cool fights though

Complaints Naruto is too much like DBZ.Best parts are the feats.
mmm
That said man I miss Juubito. Juubidara is soooo boring
DBZ is better than Naruto.
The manga could've ended being just mediocre if Kishi didn't sacrifice every plotpoint ever to make Madara the main villain. Bringing characters that never appeared before and making it the main focus of the manga was the problem after the Chunin Exams, and every arc since then has done an effort to bring more and more irrelevant newcomers ad nauseum.
Madara is a poor man's Cell.
He had it when he fought all the Bijuu. Unless you mean Pre-Rinnegan Madara all together. Guy could probably beat him but Final Susano'o would be quite the ***** to get through.
Madara was much cooler in that fight than in this one.

I meant in terms of feats.
So Kishi should not have expanded upon the cast. 👆
Right now he kinda is. Juubidara is woefully less interesting than Perfect Cell if only cause Cell had variety.

If you expand the cast, you need to make it count. When Sai was introduced he was treated as a legitimate newcomer and given a place among the rest of the crew. That's how you do it correctly.
Harishama? Madara? The Gokages? Each of them has been introduced in such a way that we almost don't know a thing about their abilities and they don't make the plot any richer. It's almost as if their appearance was entirely random and just to raise the stakes.
When a writer cannot do an introduction properly he should reconsider doing it at all.

It's poor logic to assume that because the manga being inundated with DBZ bullshit is a bad thing, that therefore means that there's no place for it anywhere in the manga.
No more of what people call bullshit tends to be a bad thing. I'd say it is pretty fair logic.
Mind you the only bullshit I have a problem with in Naruto(and thus would consider bullshit to begin with) would be the Mountain Busting Susano'o(because that is just dumb) and the Buddha equivalent. Other things exist too but those are the more directly DBZ stuff.

No that is one way you can do it. That is not the only way it can or should be done.
Hashirama's literal introduction was a fight where his abilities were introduced. Same with the real Madara. And the Gokages all talked at a table before running a train on Sasuke. So I'm not sure what you mean when you say we don't know their abilities.
As for enriching the plot that comes down to what you want out of the plot. Q99 for instance likes fleshed out worlds and the Hashi/Mada stuff shows a clear evidence of change over time in this world. To someone like that the plot is being enriched. As for random appearances I can really only agree with Hashirama and even then people were predicting his reappearance. Both the real Madara and especially the Gokage were established well in advance.

Hey I liked the Mountain Busting Susanoo and Buddha but that's probably because I though it was funny how utterly ridiculous both were when introduced.

You're either misinterpreting complaints or you're incapable of recognizing distinctions.
No one has ever stated "there should never be any DBZ-esque scenes in this manga". The complaint has always been "There has been too much DBZ-esque shenanigans in this manga", which is absolutely true.
It's naive to think that the scale can only have two points on it though, one end being "no large-scale destruction at all" and the opposite end being "explosions errywhere". The Gates along with the Bijuu cloak have always been Naruto's equivalent of "going super sayan", and it's fitting that when the master of the gates takes it up to an 11 shit gets torn up. That doesn't make it okay for nearly every mother****er in the manga to have some super-nuke no jutsu though. If anything, the constant landscape towering explosions and super-beams weakens the grandeur and impact of the Gates, as it relegates it from being something awesome and special that comes with a terrible price to merely being one more explosion among a sea of explosions.

Madara has been pulling stuff out of his _ss for a while now. Each of these quick introductions stretched the story a bit, Kishi abused of them until these characters are unrelatable and barely fleshed out. All this despite of the abuse of the flashback device.
The point is, we got the short stick by introducing that many characters, it was poorly done.

Entertainment, intelligent and creative plots/battles, relatable characters. You know, good writing.
It shouldn't be hard to grasp. If you favor your long death characters over your living and developped heroes, you're doing it wrong.
I think pretty much every last one of us called the Madara regen thing. Not necessarily that he would regen but that he wouldn't be killed by Gai even though Gai definitely had the power to kill him.
