Thanks for this explanation. The chapter was hard to follow. I had know idea WTF was going on, what the implications of everything were, and why it progressed as it did.
Also, we were wrong about Obito. It was to crush the damn eye!

Yeah, it could be sight-based teleportation & substitution, but the way he used it the first time to avoid Madara's Lightning makes me think it's Izanagi he's using, or some higher variation of it.
Sasuke's left eye is weird. The number of tomoe in that eye keep changing.
I'm surprised no one's b****ing about the fact that Madara just got stabbed and bifurcated so easily by Sasuke, despite his tanking of Afternoon Tiger & multiple Evening Elephants, not to mention a Lava Rasenshuriken that cut the Shinju in half earlier.

I asked this on another forum and here is what I got.
"Why would he feel the need to teleport? Juubito was on another dimension power-wise. He didn't need to go inside the Kamui dimension. He wanted to straight-up beat down the Shinobi Army using his newfound powers which no one at the time had any resistance against. Like Juudara, Juubito also wanted to see the extent of the Juubi's capabilities. Teleportation doesn't give him that much of an advantage, seeing as it prevents him from initiating the Infinite Tsukuyomi, prevents him from fighting with the Shinobi Army, and teleporting back into the world would actually make him more suspectible to an attack. And Kakashi should be able to negate the teleportation, anyway.
So yeah. Kamui offered no reasonable or logical advantage to him."

I thought Limbo was kind of like having a Kage Bushin attack people from something like the Kamui dimention. Oh well.

Well allow me to ***** about it. So apparently Sasuke's stab is almost as powerful as a Night Moth in terms of potency. Furthermore, when is Sasuke going to actually use his magic eyeball to do stuff...other than look at things.

Yeah that is the big dodge that puzzles my theory but another reason I think it is sight based is because Madara realized there was a range to the move Sasuke was using.
I rather like it. Also prefer fanart where it is red like the Juubi eye.

No but seriously Naruto cut down the entire Shinju tree. Sasuke cutting Madara in half is not all that neat in comparison.

He's got Indra's chakra?
Those two have apparently been buffed up tremendously by Hagoromo. Naruto did just take a hit from Madara's Rinbo without even showing any signs of damage. A weaker Madara managed to b****-slap the Bijuu with his Rinbo.
Sasuke has little to no idea what the Rinnegan can do. He should be able to use his MS techs though.

It's definitely sight-based, but he doesn't need to be looking at something to use the tech. Ah well, maybe in 2 weeks it'll be revealed.
I'm hoping it's red as well. Red > Purple-gray. But I think its weird because the tomoe keep disappearing and reappearing. Last chapter, Sasuke had 9 tomoe apparently. This chapter, it has varied between 0 & 6.
Yeah, it's nowhere close in terms of scale and raw output, but considering Madara wasn't cut by Naruto's attack, Sasuke's feat becomes pretty ridiculous.

sasuke's eye made me forget about gai completely
The whole shadow thing with madara reminds of chronicle of riddic when he was going against that shadow guy.
On top of the kakashi getting owned kinda pissed me off and i was fine with guy dying but he wouldve died like a champ but kakashi getting his eye stolen like a chump kinda pisses me off. I hope obito gives him the other eye.

Madara has rapid regen via Hashirama's cells. It makes his body regen like Tsunade's when she's in her Creation Rebirth mode. Tsunade's mode is actually referred to by Madara as a cheap imitation of what Hashirama could do.
So it should not be surprising that Madara can slap in an eyeball and make it work almost immediately.

After Juubi: Getting trolled by Obito and Kakashi, wrecked by Might Guy, and beaten rigorously by Sasuke and Naruto.

His regeneration is actually much better now.
Prior to becoming the Jinchuurikii, he couldn't regenerate his arm. Now, he's regenerating entire organs and limbs.
