Imo, Kaguya is a malevolent entity that existed since ancient times.
She continues to exist through the evil will of human beings, like Madara's Black Zetsu.
She probably is the manifestation of all the evil in the world of Naruto.

Naruto, on the other hand, represents howp.

The Sage was probably supposed to be evil as well (if we regard his malevolent appearance), but turned to the good side due the powah of howp in people's hearts.

Uh, yes it is...

Not according to Kishi. Sasuke is the final villian after Madara and the god tree(Kaguya).

Her legend was pacifying the land in a time of war with her great power, not using her abilities for evil.

That was Madara's side of the story. The tablet Madara read is most likely not the one by the Sage.

Madara's side of the story:

-Kaguya is a princess.
-Fruit shows up 1000 years.
-She ate the fruit to stop war.
-Had only one child.
-Only someone with the sharingan(or higher) can read the tablet.
-Tablet seems to support infinite tsukuyomi as there are instructions on how to cast it.

Hagoromo's side of the story:

-Kaguya is some kind of alien.
-Fruit shows up when all the chakra is one.
-She ate the fruit so she could rule the world.
-Had twins.
-Tablet was meant to be a warning.
-Didn't want infinite tsukuyomi to be cast.

They arent even ninjas anymore

Not according to Kishi. Sasuke is the final villian after Madara and the god tree(Kaguya).

Doubt there's going to be a whole new story arc for that. After all, Sasuke's evil thoughtless tendencies seem to be wearing off. There will probably be a final fight between he and Naruto though, yeah, likely for the title of Hokage. I would call that the aftermath and this the real climax of the series though.

There will probably be a final fight between he and Naruto though, yeah, likely for the title of Hokage where the entire series really comes together at the heart. I would call that the aftermath and this the real climax of the series though, since in this the entire world is at stake, while solving the relations between Naruto and Sasuke is an issue between the two of them...

EDIT: Shit, I did it again! I quoted instead of editing!

Sasuke made it clear that he intends on killing the tailed beasts so that he can create a new system.

What? When did he mention anything about killing the tailed beasts? That actually makes a lot more sense as a reason for Naruto to fight him.

My point still stands though. Sasuke wanting to kill the Tailed Beasts isn't quite as high stake as saving every living being in the world from eternal darkness.

Sasuke never said anything like that about the biju

New chapter is out and

Spoiler:
Madara goes out w/o any last words, Black Zetsu once again reminds Sasuke that he's still inferior to Itachi, Sakura and Kakashi are still useless, and we finally get to see Kaguya.

It also appears Kaguya can't absorb Naruto and Sasuke's chakra because of Hagoromo's mark. Well also find out that the Infinite Tsukuyomi was a means to get everyone hooked up to the tree in order to turn into White Zetsus to serve as soldiers for...um, something?

Not sure how the climax is going to play but Kaguya is shaping into to quite the "cuz I'm evil" villain

Madara is a lady now. Kinda funny. Almost as funny as him just exploding without any final words. Which leads me to believe he is in there somewhere.

yawn

sage's bro was named and thus will tip the scales by his wtf appearance and helping hand to naru/sasu via power up

confirmation pending

This chapter was odd. Also, for a villain who can be blamed for everyone's misfortune if you connect the chain, for Madara to go out like that seemed odd. That can't be the end. He's too important to the plot. Also is poor Obito finally dead? weep

She should've dropped them further out in the ocean.

The tears of Madara fans are truly satisfying.

It's lava that she's trying to drop them into.

Lol, what are some of his fans saying?

And while I'm a fan of his, I haven't liked him much ever since he became a Jinchuurikii. Had to be taken out in a really lulzy way, even if it was anticlimatic.

But for the lava to just appear like that on top of the background looking like a catacomb.... either she teleported them there or she shifted the environment into it.

No way Madara is dead. He will probably have one last appearance relatively soon.

They be mad that Kaguya has taken the plot away from a villain who has been around for 400 chapters apparently. Mind you these are the people who don't really care that Madara did similar hijacking after 100 chapters himself. The Kaguya thing has it's faults of course and the whole thing is hilariously messy but my point stands.

I didn't start disliking Madara until he beat and sealed the 9 Bijuu in minutes while also mortally wounded the heroes who dropped several IQ points for the sake of drama. I started hating him when it was revealed that he can shrug off being cut in half while also being the one who orchestrated Rin's death.

At least Madara had been mentioned hundreds of chapters before he was revealed as being the "big bad". Not to mention, he had been around doing stuff in the manga well before the twist. Kaguya, however, was briefly mentioned in the eleventh hour and we only got a tiny bit of her back story a few chapters before she hijacked the plot.

The Madara twist was bad. The Kaguya twist is laughably bad.

Well of course the Kaguya twist is worse. But since I've grown to hate Madara(and not in the good way) it doesn't bother me.

And Madara's first real act in the manga was in chap 559 folks let's be real. Anything before that is Tobito, regardless of behavior.
