Got problems with Kaguya. Dat Black Zetsu tho.

According to Black Zetsu the "failed experiments" were actually victims of a previous Infinite Tsukuyomi event. So apparently Hagromo and Hamura couldn't save everyone from IT. So I think the majority of people caught in IT will become Zetsu and Kaguya will get her army, letting into the New Era project. The characters with fanbases will escape of course.

Aye, but I've already seen a logical explanation for why that occurred.

I haven't seen a logical explanation for why these bone-spears would penetrate Naruto and Sasuke's defenses easier than a nuke-no-jutsu would, despite them clearly lacking in power to the point where they get embedded in someone's chest rather than ripping right through them.

Compare the damage we've seen them do to Kidomaru's arrow. Tore right through Neji, leaving a massive gaping hole, and kept going through like 3 trees.

The body disintegration is fancy, but that ability doesn't seem related to their defense-piercing abilities.

Has Kaguya done any big jutsu aside from blocking Naruto and Sasuke's big attacks? I've always attributed that to the Hyuga ability to negate attacks with like trigrams and such.

Destroying Sasuke's perfect Susanoo with what ever she did. That's above mountain busting.

Assumed it was done by blocking and forcing the attack back at him.

Her sons, whom she is stronger than, created the moon with Ninjutsu.

I'm still curious as to why Kaguya is wasting time with these small time jutsu if she's resigned to the fact that keeping Naruto and Sasuke alive in the same place is too dangerous. She should've mega nuked everything by now.

Probably because Naruto's damage soak for those types of attacks are crazy high right now. These piercing attacks and such have been a bit more effective it seems.

I hope we see the Sage in action.

Sasuke does not want to stop Infinite Tsukuyomi, but gain control of it. Sasuke wants to become Hokage and says that he doesn't care what the villagers think. He obviously won't ever be elected Hokage as K11 pointed out. So he wants to become hokage by force and what better way to do that than controlling them in a Genjutsu they are already in? Thus we have our Naruto vs Sasuke fight.

That's my prediction.

Any thoughts on it on the 70th volume cover?

Obito spent the entire chapter dying and Naruto glorifies the due who got his parents killed and planned to bring forth the end of the world. Oh and Kaguya continues to be a disappointment... stuff
