Can't speak for Ashura, Hamura & Indra, but Hagoromo is definitely more powerful than they are.
The only reason Naruto and Sasuke were able to beat Kaguya was because Hagoromo gave them the Six Paths Yin/Yang abilities, and the ability to use his Moon sealing jutsu. That, and they had help from Kakashi, Obito & Sakura.

You're entitled to your opinion of course but personally I feel Naruto at least should be given some leeway. He's basically a president. That's a heck of a lot of responsibility. I'm sure he tries to spend time with his family as much as he can and the upcoming mini-series will show this.
