I still reject the idea Nagato is in charge somewhere. But what especially gets to me is how the people who support their theory parade it around as fact.
I like the idea more it's the Sage of the Six Paths. Maybe he can control Nagato. Or maybe the Rinnegan can spread and control people on its own. There's dozens of other things besides Nagato simply sitting on his ass somewhere and eating popcorn while having six corpses fight for him.
Also look at how Konan reacted to Pein when he used that nuke jutsu. If these were just puppets being used by Nagato she shouldn't care that their lifespan is shortened.

And that is Nagato's chakra that was used for that jutsu, hence why it shortened his life.

Where does she mention Nagato anywhere in there? We know there's someone controlling Pein. That much has been obvious since Jiraiya said the real one isn't there and Shizune confirmed it by saying the person controlling them with the chakra piercings was nearby.

What says it is Nagato? Simple. He is the only living Rinnegan user, he knew Jiraiya on a personal level, and Jiraiya recognized him as Nagato.

Nah, Pain was sending all sorts of offense Naruto's way. Naruto just handled it quite well. In fact, most ninja would have died just mere seconds into the fight with Pain at that caliber.
Naruto is far from done. I bet he came up with another way to collect sage chakra. Remember he had an epiphany about looking left and looking right. I was thinking that he could have two shadow clones collect sage Chakra for him or something. I mean, why wouldn't he do that? It'd be a rather simple solution.

I dont think so. Yahiko pain hasnt even attacked yet. All he has done is barrage him with summons.
Infact yahiko pain with his gravity powers shud at this point really be able to end this fight quickly.
Well that's assuming he's got them back yet. Yahiko Pein hasn't done anything simply because after nuking Konoha he doesn't have his ability. Though now that Sage Mode is gone he's probably gotten it recharged by now. Apparently Summoning Pein can't dodge herself though or the other one could have probably dodged with the others instead of saving that body.
Kinda expected to have a throwing Rasengan Shuriken but what was the point of hyping that as a new move. What did his time with Jiraiya really do? It's like the only thing Jiraiya taught him was how to make bigger Rasengan. Everything else he's using he's learned before or after his three years with Jiraiya.
