No, he didn't do anything when Naruto was training for the Rasengan that I remember, and when he trained him for the Chunnin exams all he did was teach him how to use Kyuubi chakra, and unseal Oro's seal. Though during the 3 year training he may have weakened it when he used the key on it that unlocked the 4th tail. Though even if he did the seal had been weakening since the Haku fight.

Minato is not gone.
He could be resurrected through a forbidden jutsu if someone figures out how to fully release his soul. That's what happened to the first and second in the fight with the third.

Though if Oro started the whole thing to find a way to bring his parents back, and obviously found a way to bring dead people back..Wouldn't that have been enough. But no Oro has to suddenly want young boys, and to kill his master. Talk about straying from the original intent. If the whole parents thing was the original intent.

The difference here is that Orochi brought back the first and second BEFORE the death god absorbed them. The third used that technique specifically because it would seal their souls so that they could not be summoned. Once the death god had absorbed them, they were out of the picture.
My bad for not being clear. I wasn't saying that the first and the second were resurrected after being absorbed by death.
I was saying that they were resurrected and their souls brought from the after life with a forbidden jutsu. I was talking about there being jutsus for just about everything and I was using the first and second as examples of really weird jutsus. I had actually not thought about the first and second being absorbed by the death god...so that was a bad example on my part. 🙁

According to the spoiler provider, theirs actually another organization above Akatsuki is being introduced called Kuromaku or something. This is maybe true or not.
He's back in sage mode...since I doubt he could summon the other remaining clone, he probably just used all the time he had with Pein staring at the big floating mountain ball, instead of you know doing whatever he needed to do to bring Naruto in, to gather some chakra.
Pein can't have enough left in him to fight a somewhat rested Naruto now.
