All the tailed beasts used to be one ten-tailed beast, and it's body is what the sage of sixth paths created the moon to seal. It's chakra he sealed inside himself, then when he was about to die he split it into nine pieces, the nine biju.

Madara's plan is to re-fuse the nine beasts with that weird statue, then become it's Jinchuruki, then rule with the power by... turning the moon into a big Tsukiyomi (I am sure I misunderstood something here.)

Madara is going to unleash the power of the tailed beasts against the five countries for ninja world war 4.

I thought that Madara's plan involved absorbing the power of the Tailed Beast's, but lol wut?

Well he IS absorbing the power. Just apparently not for his EMS.

I was mainly talking about the ten tailed beast thing lol wtf.

Interesting concept I have to admit though, hope Kishi can pull it off.

Remember way, way back when the "sage created the moon" thing was revealed. I was already speculating there could be a Biju in there and Madara was trying to unlock it.

I remember it, but never considered it because I honestly wouldn't have given Kishi credit for a plot element like that. Now I feel stupid. 😐

Yeah. It gives me new confidence in his ability to plan things far in advance. A little throw away line in the Pain fight turned into a major plot point.

So am I understanding this correctly?

Moon has 10 tails' body.

Bijuu are basically the chakra of the 10 tails split into 9 pieces. Makes sense, Madara did say that they are chakra monsters.

Madara will fuse the bijuu to get the chakra of the 10 tails.

He'll do some shit with the moon to unseal the body in order to be in full control of the 10 tails. He could somehow reunite the chakra with the body enabling it to break out of the moon (like Naruto did against Pain's CT...nice foreshadowing Kishi?)

He'll create chaos with that power.

So Madara wants to become as powerful as the Sage, and then some more? The Sage might have been a Jinchuurikii when he sealed the 10 tails' chakra within himself. Madara will become more powerful than the sage by unsealing the body. Though I don't think he'll be able to control the beast. Oh wait, Sharingan and its HAX powers...

The sage must have been mad powerful if he had access to the 10 tailed chakra and the Rin'nengan.

~ The safety of Naruto & KB is going to become the top priority of the ninja world, if they take Madara seriously. Which makes me wonder, why the hell would he reveal his plan if he doesn't have 2 important pieces? Is he going to kill the Kages right now?

Maybe it's just because he's an arrogant jerkass?

maybe cause over half of the pertinent naruto characters are in their early teens.

^^ & ^Possibly. Though it'd be retarded and supremely arrogant on his part, especially considering he's planning far ahead.

I mean, he'd be taking villain CIS to a new level if he revealed his plans before they were even complete, to the Kages no less >__>.
I think he's going to kill the Kages.

If he manages to kill all of the Kages.

He will be the strongest character thus far.

He has declared war on the kages. I think he says something like he's going to use the tailed beasts to war against their countries.

He'll become the 2nd most powerful, if not the most powerful character ever, if this plan comes to fruition.

~ The 9 tailed beast itself is fearsome; add the power of the other 8, with all of it under Madara's control. I'm surprised the Sage was able to seal all of that chakra into himself. Who knows if he was able to access said chakra; should be able to, if he was the first jinchuuriki.

That tailed beast might even restore his EMS, if he's lost it.

If he does let them live, they'd have ample time to prepare themselves; perhaps they'd even form alliances to stop him from getting KB & Naruto. Madara would be counting on the hatred between countries to negate or weaken such alliances. Sasuke would be his enforcer, after he had been synched with GM. At the center of it will be Naruto with his emo rants (emo-ness saves the day again).

Sasuke's going to end up being redeemed by teaming up with Naruto to defeat Madara. That's how this is all going to end isn't it.

If they do form an alliance, it should prove interesting.

He might be toying with them, after all, he could be giving out half-truths. He's also asking the wrong people for the 9-tails. Danzou is not around. If the 4 Kages form an alliance without him, or rather, without informing him, there might be some consequences.

Susano'o might not have any drawbacks should Sasuke gain the EMS. Or a more far-fetched idea would be that Madara wanted Sasuke to be unconscious from using Susano'o.

~ Sasuke implied that Susano'o caused a heavier toll when it was perfected. Itachi must have had a high amount of willpower.
