his fusion form seems to be for high mobility since him making that lake before he transformed was no fluke; i believe he recognised he was at a disadvantage so he needed to step his defense game up by not only making himself harder to hit (water + high speed body), but now samahada isn't out in the open and it's abilities seem to be within kisame now.
i wouldn't be surprised if he starts biting chunks of chackra off of the waterlogged kirabi.

He's fused with Samehada, so he most likely can absorb chakra directly.
The only downside I can notice are the gills. If so, this would be an underwater only form.

I don't think he'll have any problems being outside or inside the water. There are several species that have gills and lungs. I don't see why Kishimoto would decide to gimp one of his uber bad-guys...other than making it a plot point for Kirabi to win?

umm no kissame has already been defeated by someone with the gates unlocked. And i know that it was 30% kisame but only his chakra was hindered not his strength or anything else. Rock lee and Gai are among the fastest in the ninja world. only ninja faster than them are maybe the 4th hokage and raikage.

30% of Kisame's ability, fooling around and eventually being beaten by Gai using 6 gates, does not mean that anyone with gates can do it. Nor is Gai and Lee comparable in the least. Clearly you are not very skilled when it comes to making arguments. Your logic fails.

I was referring to the speed of the gates you said Kisame could keep up with the gates i highly disagree because i have yet to see Kisame move that fast and if he has prove it.

Yeah, you're probably right about him having no problems where he is. The form is just suited to underwater, but can function on land as well.
Though Kisame flooding the entire place must have some merit (apart from putting Kirabi at a disadvantage of course).
