kisame goes for the death stroke but bee throws the same pencil again (he played possum after picking it up, he wasn't at all damaged in this fight apparently) and the pencil grazes kisame's temple. he goes to chop bee again but his sword is sliced in half by a raiton kunai thrown by raikage (the kunai looks exactly like the tatts on his shoulders), then they double lariat him and he loses his head. kisame's last words are about how stupidly fast the brother are.

the mizukage is the one who saves ao by the way.

it womt bother me that much because i always thought kisame was really boring but a lot of people wont be very happy about that... =|

he doesn't have a story line really, and he's just part of an endangered species (akatsuki) so he has to go at some time.

is it just me, or besides full power madara (potentially), bee and raikage are untouchable in this manga. even more, they're reunited again and backed by the rest of the like 5 named kumo nin (+ the entire village), nobody is even going to step to them.

madara has 7 bijuu, but they are weaker than the ones in bee and naruto, looks like it's kinda even considering madara hasn't yet formed a troop to even fight with whereas the two bijuu he doesn't own are amongst 5 hiddden village's worth of ninja + their kages and the samurai of the daimyo of the entire iron country.

Yeah Kisame probably had the lamest death of all Akatsuki (well, Hidan and Kakuzu maybe tops it, but at least they managed to off a main character).

kisame was badass, but raikage just trolls their fight and kills kisame without batting an eye. that guy owns this manga. he will kill anyone he feels like killing in brutal fashion ....and that's that.

Well that was.... shit. Come to think of it the whole fight was poorly done. And how the hell did Raikage get there in time when he should logically be hundreds of miles away?

Though Kisame obviously survived, probably switching his body with a water clone or something. At least it looks like thats what he did with that last jutsu.

Though I must admit, it almost looked like Raikage had his left hand behind his back while he used the lariat. It still looked badass even though that was not the case.

There is no way one of the manga's best characters had such a lame death, especially after that loser with the Mizukage hyped him the way he did. That level of f@ggotry is immense even for Kishi.

Wellz, he did activate a water jutsu, could have been a really good substitution jutsu.

Kisame knew these guys were fast, there's no way he's stupid enough to try a water jutsu like that. He'll be back, and in greater numbers!

a ninja at his level and from the mist should be able to know when to make a water clone. kakuzu did it in the kakashi filler part and even kakashi didn't know he did it

(water clones do however turn into water once they are destroyed, and kisame's body is still solid after he "dies"😉

Yes, but Kisame is THE best Water jutsu user we've seen, barring the Second Hokage perhaps. It's possible he knows a very advanced water clone jutsu.
