So? The plot not needing a strong villain doesn't mean that Madara is strong. 😐

You guys are getting ahead of yourselves. My point is that Madara himself, is a faux threat. Going by his showings, he's not very powerful. Anything else you add on to that is just your own perceptions, lol.

How about putting one heck of a genjutsu on Yagura? Seemed powerful to me.

Madara already was stated to just be a shell of his former self. It's his plan that's supposed to be threatening, not the power he personally possesses.

Good, so you agree with me, then.

Who's Yagura? Oh right that one guy who's never done anything and we know nothing about except that he was a Bijuu and the Mizukage.

You're right. What good could a genjutsu strong enough to hypnotize a Kage level ninja be in a fight?

What does Kage level mean? Tsunade's a Kage. She sucks, though.

she does not suck. she just doesn't have a plethora of techniques

lol

It probably means, stronger than the average ninja. And Tsunade is stronger than your average ninja. Yagura, being both a host and a Kage, is probably stronger than your average Tsunade.

Anyone who has a name and appears in more than five chapters in stronger than your average ninja.

Iruka? awesome

Iruka technically has only been in like 4 chapters. kekekekekekeke

However, Iruka's head of the acadamy. So, yeah. He's above average.

Ino too. 😐

Clearly not. He's even had his name in a chapter title once. 313

And he's got a ton of fans too apparently.

Edit: Hinata then. awesome

wow, Konana did better than I thought. she dealt Madara more damage than we've seen him take so far and that jutsu at the end surprised me. let's hope that she doesn't suddenly go down in the next chapter.

and I'm sure Iruka is above the average ninja. Ino, not so much.

He won only because he has one specific hax ability, not because he fought better or smarter, which is exactly my point. Take away that one ability and he'd be garbage.

That's like saying "Take away Raikage's Raiton Armor and he'd be garbage."

Actually, I kind of get your point.

^ I take back the Raiton armor comment.

~ Anyway, what exactly will Konan's technique do to a guy that can teleport? She must know that he can teleport. Just sealing him won't work, unless she intends to crush him with the two sides of the paper sea, or it's a special seal.

Not really, she'd pulp most jonin, and does have that whole "I can heal an entire army," jutsu going for her, probably why Jiraiya said she was decisive in the 2nd ninja world war.

Kage-level and S-class have a lot of overlap. Kage-class is simply 'strong enough to be a Kage,' which most S-class are.

One thing they do tend to all have in common is they tend to be strategically significant assets on their own. Possession of S-class jutsu and abilities that are extreme even for ninja.

They should make him a special jonin and be done with it, I think he's avoiding promotion on purpose.

Such as? 😐

Useless in a 1 on 1 fight. 😐 Yeah, she's a good support fighter.

Asuma, Baki, Choza...

We almost certainly haven't seen her used all of her best offensive tricks either. Tsunade has a massive reserve chakra, and it doesn't inherently have to be used for the 'auto regeneration' thing (which does make her pretty much immune to a lot of lesser ninja's attacks entirely). She also has a one-touch jutsu that pretty much removes a foe's ability to do taijutsu unless they've got great anatomy skills. If she connects with a punch, that'll one hit almost anyone too.

I assume there's more to it than just drowning him. It probably has fuinjutsu properties or something.
