Besides, before Yahiko was killed, Akatsuki wasn't a terrorist organization. Hanzo contacted Akatsuki under the pretense of needing them to negotiate for peace between the Three Great Countries. Hence, I highly doubt there was a civil war going on between Akatsuki & Hanzo.
It's implied that the civil war began quite a while after Nagato had already established himself as Pain, i.e. Pain's faction vs. Hanzo's faction. Therefore, I don't think Hanzo was killed when Nagato snapped.

Well I guess Pein went after Hanzo after the Second Great Nin war since Jiraiya mentioned him breaking through his fortress of guards to try to get him(I think). I 'm also guessing Nagato's fit took place after Hanzo fought the Sanin; I still don't know how that would fit though.

Sasuke to date has defeated exactly THREE Cloud guys that I can recall, all of them being Jonin/Anbu level tops, while he had his crew with him.

Killerbee and Raikage beat the shit out of him and in both instances he would have died without help.

Sasuke is a personal favorite of mine but every time you say something wrong in regards to him, I hate him more and more. 😠

All that said, he could kill most Cloud Ninja now. Bee would be the only variable in the equation in my opinion.

Sasuke: Comes into each fight with two Jonin-level ninja and he still almost loses!

Without Suigetsu, KB would've finished him.

Without Suigetsu and Jugo, Raikage's *bodyguards* would've taken him down.

I moved Gaara up one step as previously suggested, and I added the S rank 🙂

Now, for S, I don't want discussions of S+ yet, just opinions on who should be in S. The Sannin? Which Kage? Konan? Etc..

Also, it occurred to me that while young Sarutobi was super badass, it might actually make sense to put him in S-, in order to beat Orochimaru he had to use a suicide technique after all, and Orochimaru and his two zombie weren't fighting all that hard or using their best moves.

Feats and to a lesser extent statistics. I say lesser because I'm not sure how they matter much to Q99 when he created the list.

They're just opinions anyway but it does help considerably in grading the shinobi in terms of power.

I think Q99 wants to be a teacher. He'll introduce the S grade, which is better than A. And he'll have an E rank. awesome

How come Naruto still can't just do Rasengan with two hands? Seriously, its making me question his "genius" credentials at this point.

Also, what is Kishi thinking when he says you need to be in 100% full tailed beast form to use menacing ball... while showing a flashback of Naruto using it with only four?

Part 2 Lee has almost nothing to his credit.

Chuunin Exam Lee & Neji are in the same tier, while Sasuke Retrieval Neji is one tier higher.

Technically no, since he's going to learn to do the Menacing Ball in Human Form. I'm guessing he's going to be 'throwing' his Rasengans/Menacing Balls in his Kyuubi Chakra mode from now on.

He needs two separate hands to compress and shape the chakra. It's just the way he's used to it. Since he's always had more than enough chakra for regular usage of Shadow Clones, he never thought about learning how to perform the Rasengan normally.
That said, it could be that Naruto's just being a moron like he usually is, since he did a one-handed Rasengan against Sasuke at VotE, with the help of the Kyuubi's chakra.

Kishi never showed a flashback of 4 Tailed Kyuubi using the Menacing Ball.
I'm guessing the Hachibi thought that it was only possible in Full Beast Mode since the compression and shape manipulation is impossible in Human form, at least without rotation. Alternatively, 4/6 Tailed Kyuubi could do the move since it was the Kyuubi in control, not Naruto.

As for the chapter....much as I hate to watch Naruto train, I'm glad to be away from the shit that happened with the ambush teams.

I did like the Kabuto and Madara scene though. Madara doesn't need to be getting so emotional over everything Kabuto says.
