I'm really hoping Tobi has more to his plan than just trying to take over Sasuke's body.

Who knows, maybe taking some ones eyes for the second time gives another kind of technique lol. Maybe he needs sasuke to get the nine tails for some reason.

Doesn't his eyes give him the ability to control the Nine-tails anyway according to Itachi.

Zabuza had a lot of talk. Course he was in the middle of fighting when he did it but.

only cause he was going to die soon, the creators have to squish his life story into a little arc.

suigetsu vs kisame is gonna rock man, sharks, water, blades, and teacher/student rivalry.....!

I don't think Suigetsu was Kisame's student.

Great now Tobi is going to be revealing Itachi's secrets? Why couldn't Itachi just reveal them himself before dying? Do we really need Tobi to tell us about Itachi? Kinda disappointed he's taking his mask off though even though he should look exactly like the statue of him in the valley but still.

I don't think people understand exactly what happens when you run completely out of chakra like Itachi did.

You die. Instantly. You don't lay there and die slowly, giving you time to tell your autobiography.. you just die.

The time to tell his life story was before the fight, not at it's end.

The beginning of the fight, or walking towards him completely invulnerable all would have been before dying. And he didn't die right away when he fell anyway. Besides is Itachi really stupid enough to use that attack if it would kill him by draining all his chakra?

Besides when Kakashi uses his big chakra draining attacks he usually just falls unconcious. And didn't Naruto just pass out by using to much chakra during trying learn the Rasengan? Why would Itachi stay concious enough to die? Besides to kill him off but.

Depends ont he attack. Not all attacks use the same amount of chakra, and not all people have the same amount of chakra. Kakashi's biggest chakra drain is the MS. Besides, Kakashi and Naruto don't do their big chakra draining attacks when they're already low on chakra. They do it and it drains them so much that they become low on chakra.

Itachi was already at the end of his rope. He was literally falling apart. When you're already low on chakra, that's not the time to use your big chakra draining techniques. He literally ran out of chakra, whereas Naruto and Kakashi just get so low that it causes them to passout. Not too mention that it was a large burst of chakra being drained from him, so that would explain why he didn't have lose conciousness first. He went from like 10%, to to -5%, in under ten seconds.

Why did he he do it? Because he has no choice. Itachi had two choices. He could either take the undodgable lightning strike to the face and die instantly, or he use this summon and possibly survive. He was just out of options.

Eh Good point. Maybe I'm just thinking he'd be able to do more cause Sasuke was still able to fight and Itachi said that Sasuke was drained of chakra. Course I keep forgetting Sasuke is...Sasuke.

The lightning jutsu didn't use chakra though.. so even if Sawsgay was low on chakra he would have still been able to do it.

I know that. But he was out of chakra is what Itachi said. Plus he went cursed seal 2 afterwards.

I think he meant it as a figure of spech. Like, he was so low on chakra that he couldn't do any more attacks, which was true. He probably couldn't do anymore attacks that required him to mold his own chakra. And didn't he do that with the help fo Orichimaru who was inside him? He probably gave him some chakra.

I think him going cursed seal was what used up the chakra to free Orochimaru.
