What's wrong with Itachi being a good guy? I don't understand how that really worsens the story.

Because Itachi being a good guy was so.....Predictable. He was also out of place among the rest. But how the heck do you give somebody an eye technique. That part I'm still not getting.

Still, there's a humor to it. Sasuke trains all those years away to kill someone who's been trying to save him.

Yea I'm not really saying it's bad. I just knew all along there was more to it than Itachi being a killer for somebody who never wanted to really fight and seemed so out of place amongst the rest. But hey so did Tobi.

A lot of reprecussions and dumb explainations coming:

- So Itachi did or did not kill the Uchiha clan?

- Sasuke gets a bunch of upgrades to his uber Sharingan because Itachi touched his forehead (AND MADARA SAID ALL HIS EYE TECHNIQUES).

- Why help collect bijuu for Akasuki if hes a good guy? (OMG, please dont let him be the spy for Jiraya...)

My initial impression of the Itachi-Madara relationship...

I think Itachi went along with Madara ONLY because it insured that the entire leaf village would not be destroyed.

It is also possible that the Uchiha were going to be used for something sinister because of their blood line limit...So it was a type of righteous indignation.

There could also be an evil-or evils-above and beyond Akatsuki.

Itachi may have ALSO been the only survivor from the attack...an attack that he knew about before hand or motives he knew about before hand. In his intelligence, he may have thought that his little brother was the villages only chance of revenge because of the alliances he made. Or rather, he figured out that the best way to motivate his little brother was by claiming all their deaths...increasing Sasuke's burn for becoming stronger.

It could also be that Madara is more evil than we think and he wanted to take down Madara WITH Sasuke...and Madara was solely the one who killed ALL the Uchihas.

I'd say we'll find out in a week but everybody knows how long he likes to drag stuff out.

no naruto next week. also, maybe itachi left sasuke with his techniques by the blood that he put on his forehead, maybe it touched his eyes.

Well I was right about not getting answers next week. Just for the wrong reasons.

possibly, sasuke's eyes bled when he was forced to use the amatarasu

also, it seems like sasuke is now in like to gain the ultimate doujutsu beyond the mangekyo.

Yea I imagine he will. He's Sasuke after all. Though should he really be able to without taking Itachi's eyes?

You are absolutely correct about that. I HATE ending the chapter without closer of some sort...but that's how you make sales.

thats what kishimoto does best, create speculation, i mean how many people thought pain was naruto's father for a split second, i did.

His eyes are what made me not think it. That and it was quite obvious the 4th was his father. Though I wouldn't have been surprised for Pein to have been related to Naruto somehow. Really Naruto needs some family even if they are evil.

when naruto receives the knowledge that his father was the most skilled shinobi in all of the history of konoha, he's definitely going to cherish the family he had, and thus want to rid himself of the kyuubi, which is the reason he and his father aren't together and the reason he was hated for the majority of his life.

Yea to bad all that's really waiting for him in Konoha when he returns is Jiraiya's dead. If anybody should have told Naruto about his parents Jiraiya should have. Jiraiya being the one who gave him his name and everything along with being close to the 4th.
