allor sighed. "It maybe that the person was never caught. To have a record you must be caught. What about forensics? Did they pick up anything?"

The police chief sighed. "Y'know, I have better things to do than be arguing with a 16-year old delinquant. Good night," he said, turning the TV off and going back to his paperwork.

Allor growled. "Listen you potbellied snake with a badge, Derek Nix is innocent, and that is until proven guitly without a doubt. Isn't that what this god forsaken country stand for."

"Right, right, don't injure yourself. Goodnight again."

Allor chuck a pretty good sized paper wait just barely missing his head ut knicked his ear. "F8ck you." she said. "If you were standing I would kick you in the balls ut it wouldn't hurt much since you don't have much." she said before stomping out of his office. She growled as she stopped in the main office.

The police chief chuckled and went back to his work.

Allor went home. Without saying a word she ran to her room slamming bedroom door shut and locking it.

Derek sighed heavily and lay back down to try to get some sleep.

Derek woke up in the morning to find a cop standing outside his cell. The man motioned to follow him down the hall to a small room on the left side. He unlocked a desk drawer, pulled a cell phone out, and slapped it onto the table. "You have five minutes."

Derek sleepily punched in the number to Allor's cell.

Allor picked it up. "Uh, hey?" came a not to sure voice.

"Al, they said somebody can come and bail me out."

"Kay, I'll be there in a few." she says. True to her word she was there in five minutes. A guard walks back and let'sderek out. "You're free to go."

Derek's eyes lit up when he saw Allor. "God, am I glad to see you.. Some nutjob wouldn't shut up about his wife and kids all night."

Allor laughs. "Remind me not to marry you." she says as they start to leave.
