One of the most interesting, quite funny books i've read so far. By Irish writer Eoin Colfer, it's an amazing book where the main character is not the hero but instead the evil genius. It's really good. Has anyone else read it if not i think that you should, it is just a great book.

Yes, it's really clever! I read the first one while waiting for HP5 to come out. I've not yet read the 2nd and 3rd yet (English books are really expensive here). I really liked the twist on the Leprechaun idea!

The second and third book are fantastic, honestly i recommend them.

Ive read the two books, theyre not bad, not as good as HP and Hitchhikers guide to galaxy. I thought they were a bit too......unrealistic?

A bit too unrealistic? It's a fantasy book, unrealistic is the image you want to get.

I like it, Die Hard meets Harry Potter to me. 🙂 I also heard they were debating to make a movie of it.

I think it would be great for them to make a film about Artemis Fowl. I wonder who they'd get to play Artemis and Holly. Also Butler, that would be interesting don't you think.

They're thinking of making a movie out of it and they're debating whether to cast Um...that one chick off of Charlie's Angels to play Holly...Um....the blonde one, my brain froze.

read the 1st nd 2nd but cant get a copy of the 3rd has neone red the special one he bought out 4 world bk day artemis fowl and the 7th dwarf i cant find it in ne of the bk shops and i was wondering if it was worth getting

Wouldn't she be a bit old to play her? I thought she was supposed to be a teenager

Holly's an elf. i doubt she's a teenager.
