For the record, Foaly's smarter than she is, but he got killed by his own arrogance. He and Artemis are just kinda cut from the same cloth, I guess. Except Foaly was from the horsish half of that cloth...

not sure about that. Foaly was kinda arrogant, but it wouldn't be his undoing.

That's how Opal trapped him in his own sanctum, he kinda got lazy with his security. But he ended up outsmarting her, he found out how she monitered his actions and got messages to Artemis and all that.

The fourth Artemis Fowl book, the Opal Deception, is brilliant! Yet, at the same time, it's sad. I want the movie to be hurried up and made already! ^^;;;

I like these books very much. Only thing that is disturbing me is Artemis becoming more and more good in every book.

He's not... or at least at the end of it. At the beginning, he was almost his old bastardly self, but then he got his memories back and was all goody goody again. I'm pretty sure they're done with mind wiping him too, and he's leaning towards quitting the whole criminal lifestyle. Artemis Fowl is officially a good guy, ladies and gents.

nothing wrong with that. I kinda like him better that way, though it's rather fun having him as a villain.

KRC: What's next for you? Will there be a Book 5 in the series after THE OPAL DECEPTION (which releases on April 20, 2005), and is there any update on the Artemis Fowl movie that's in the works?

EC: I am working on book 5 at the moment. It is tentatively called THE LOST COLONY. As for the movie, the studio is hoping to get a director and cast this year, so fingers crossed.

When did the 5th com out!?

I am so mad! I can find my 4th AF Book any where! I am looking all over for it but with all the books I have one is bound to get lost somewhere. 😠
