Director found?

Martin Campbell, who helped to revive the James Bond franchise with the 1995 hit "GoldenEye," is in negotiations to direct the 21st installment in MGM's spy series - according to trade paper The Hollywood Reporter.

I've sadi this in other threads and I'll continue to say it. Jason Statham, played in Snatchm, Lock Stock and two smokin barrels, and the Transporter. He's british, charming, handsome, and could kick some serious ass.

32... that's kinda young 😬

Daily Mirror (UK) claims that Jaason Simmons has screentested for the role of 007

Rumors about Ewan McGreggor getting it, are getting more numerous

Ewan, James Bond cry

it makes me sad too that they want him 🙁

it doesn't make ME sad 😕 you people get sad too easily 😛

but his wife! cry

Samantha Bond quits

She will sign off as Moneypenny, she said in the Daily Record (UK)

"I just don't want to go on being Moneypenny if Pierce isn't there"
and
"I really don't. It's an age thing, for a start. Pierce is just that little bit older than me - eight years - - and when he's doing all that saucy flirting with Moneypenny, it looks OK and a lot of fun, which it is. And she, of course, has her fantasies about being with him, having a romance. It's a gift of a role."

Bumperty-bump-bump

A Swedish James Bond fan (Gunnar Schäfer) says he has been cast for a minor role in the next film - Bond 21.

The role was apparently offered to him after he visited Pinewood Studios and made a screen test. The role is supposed to be pretty small, but not entirely insignificant, as some sort of villain.

JAMES BOND FILM IN JEOPARDY

The next JAMES BOND film has been further delayed after a series of rows between movie mogul BARBARA BROCCOLI and distributors MGM.

Broccoli is keen to return the spy franchise to the more serious, plot-driven films her father, original Bond producer CUBBY BROCCOLI, pioneered.

However, MGM is determined to generate as much money as possible by sticking to the movies' well-established formula of gadgets, breath-taking stunts and big-budget special effects.

And the resulting stalemate has already delayed the 21st Bond film - which was originally due for release in November this year (05).

A Hollywood insider says, "It does not bode well. There is a lot of ego, money and belief at stake - no one is backing down.

"The Broccoli camp believe they are the keepers of an untouchable tradition, and the money men want their megabucks."

The movie - now slated for release in early 2006 - is still without a script, director or star after PIERCE BROSNAN was axed from the role.

* According to the source they don't.

* It is, but to the "money man" its bad because they want a special effects bonanza.

* that's two sources contradicting eachother, so perhaps it's nothing much to deal with

* but they do realise I hope that bond will always cash in money!
