Yep, you're right Shanie - according to that source it was just an insider who spoke to The Mirror and the fact that it's The Mirror makes it practically non-credible. However, now that it's on CBBC which is a good source in general 'probably' means that the news could be made official - not positive but a good chance.

Anyways, lol Georgina the girl 2nd from right might be the prettiest 😉 in that picture but it doesn't mean she's as good as Katie plus the pics we saw of Katie were blurry so we have yet to see a good likeness of her 🙂

True, but to me Katie has a certain look that a lot of BBC's have... it's like a common look, and don't get me wrong, I'm not using it against her at all, it's hard to explain but being a BBC myself I can tell 😬 and yeah she's pretty just not how I imagined Cho to be 🙁

Ah I thought so but I didn't want to sound silly if I was wrong lol 😛 and I can understand what you mean about the 'typical/common' look about British born Asians in the younger generations (I'm Indian) and they do kind of well.... yeah it's hard to explain without possibly sounding alittle offensive 😖 Also, I've had a number of Chinese, Vietnamese and Japanese (not many Korean I don't think *thinks*) friends and I do recognise the trend you are talking about as well not just from my own observations but from theirs as well.

As for Cho - I think many of us were imagining her to be more representaive of south/south east Asian beauty shall we say and were'nt quite prepared for her to be so British looking perhaps? even though we knew she was British Chinese. I hope that makes sense. I mean, I always pictured her as a quite girly, popular socialite and even though from what we've seen Katie looks fine for that but it still doesn't quite sit right and none of us can't seem to put our fingers on it yet - maybe our overall feeling for her was that we knew she was British but we still expected a slightly more exotic feel? 😕

What you're saying is exactly what I'm trying to say 😛 lol. I total imagined Cho to be girlie and sociable. Katie just doesn't have what I expected. And I know what you mean about the whole thing about it being hard to explain without being offsive 😖
