USH'S MATRIX GAME FOURTH ASSIGNMENT (COMBAT PATH)- 'The Heist'

Started by Bespin Bart54 pages

Shortening AND everyone living (hopefully)? What great benefits! Though Crazy Captain Dallas will probably kill us...

I say that whoever is confronted by an Agent should Prone them. If they have no Proning powers, then someone with Proning powers will need to stay. That would be Cloud, San, and myself. Barb and Ares need to escape the Agent with our help, so Grasshopper Sweep and whatever proning powers you have should help drastically. Burn is already in the car, so we do not need to worry about him...at least, not right now.

Then those of you with guns, San, Ares, Barb, keep the Agent at bay by exerting him, firing bursts and using Gathering of the Clouds, if you have it. I don't think Barb does, so I'll entrust San and Ares with that.

Then we get in our Hummers. The motorcycle is gone, and to make things quicker, we'll get in one Hummer. A Hacker should drive, with the exception of Ares since he is our best gunner as of this moment. Perhaps San should drive.

If the Sytem sends cops and Agents after us, which I'd prefer they didn't, anyone able to use a gun will have one. This includes Ares, Barb, San (use Gathering while driving!), and myself. Cloud, keep low, we don't want another dead-weight! I'll do my best to avoid becoming double wounded.

Sounds good First Mate! *salute!* Hopefully Agent 2 doesn't give some display of power that counters Sweep.

I'll just lay down in the back of the Hummer then...

What, you mean like Rise, Ares, clearly listed in the Agent power list?

Heh....

That plan sounds good to me!

Actually, on second thought, Barb should drive, not me...his drive skill is higher than mine, and I'm a better gunner than he is, so it'd be more logical for him to drive instead.

Rise does kinda botch things up for us a bit, though we can still retreat while he's proned.

Damn Agents...

(I really should keep track of how many times we say that...😂 )

Well, that's three this mission...

So, we are just waiting for Cloud to respond. Does Barb like the plan, San?

I'm fine with the plan

Ok then! We shall pick this up from the start of round 5. Everyone who was prone is back up, and all focus and exertion is reset.

CURRENT SITUATION AT: Fifth Round, First Turn

Inside Subway

San: 11/19/-1

Subway Stairs

Barb: 10/25/-3
Cloud: 15/29/0

Subway Entrance

Mors: 11/29/-1
Ares: 9/24/0

Agent 2: ?/0/-2

-----

Agent 2 will kick off with a punch at Mors.

...too bad damage couldn't reset...heh...

I'm going to start out by trying to exert that Agent a bit...so Gathering of the Clouds to fire 3 bursts BGB while running towards the entrance.

Ares -- start shooting!
Barb & Cloud -- Get back over here as fast as you can.
EVERYONE -- Do what you can to avoid getting any more damage!

Oh, and Barb's fine with the plan.

I'll run past the agent, as far away from him as I can be, towards the cars

(this happens after the Agent's blow at Mors)

Ok, San, you roll +3 for a 19, and the Agent gains four exertion a s he blurs considerably.

Agent peforms: Pose- Faster, Quicker

He takes a moment to turn and flex his knuckles at you, San...

Wow...heh. But I bet I can guess what's going to happen next...

So this is what I think we should do. More or less, I'm just specifying what each of us should do with Mors' plan.

Cloud, Mors, and myself -- we need to concentrate on proning that Agent. BUT BE CAREFUL. You two have already taken a lot of damage, so use the best defenses you have against the Agent's attacks.

Ares and Barb -- You two need to fire everything you've got at that Agent and make him gain as much exertion as you possibly can, to make our escape easier. We've got plenty of extra ammo and guns in the Hummer, so just go nuts.

Sound good?

Hmm...

Remember what Dallas said about sending enough bullets in the Agent's direction to "kill" him? I wonder if we could do that by getting him to a certain exertion level...just a thought...

Ares fires four bursts at Agent 2.

Mors fires three shots from his Desert Eagle...

(Rex, now you make me wonder... *shoots Rex for getting him interested* )

This is going to hurt (me not him) but JUMP OF THE GRASSHOPPER the agent

Hmm...I wonder if that will work, exerting the Agent enough to actually cause him to get damage...
