USH'S MATRIX GAME FOURTH ASSIGNMENT (COMBAT PATH)- 'The Heist'

Only did about 3 damage to him anyway...

(and we should be back on fulltime by the end of the week or early next week, because we're supposedly FINALLY getting broadband internet...)

(Good!)

Man I need cable, DSL, ANYTHING!!
stupid 56k!

Ah yes, the days when I had 56k. It was...so slow. Now I've got 512k broadband 😄

And Ush, I will never be ready to fight the agent, but as Worf always said "Today is a good day to die" or something along those lines

Yes it IS a good day today...

One last thing- any objections to me switching to the 2.6 system for this fight?

none from me....

Differences aren't too major, right?

Not too much, no.

I've got no problems with it...

(and dialup sucks. We just got rid of it altogether, so until we actually get cable internet set up, we're back to no internet at home again.)

(Dial-up hater right here!)

Ok then, let's roll and rock- appreciating that San and Barb will be sporadic, if here at all, until the start of next week.

Ok, the speed roll today is 6! A long sequence ahead...

CURRENT SITUATION AT: First Sequence, Frame 16

Top of Bus
San: 8/19/14
Mors: 11/37/14
Barb: 10/27/16
Cloud: 15/31/13

Agent 2: ?/0/15

Ok, your last number is now your frame number (exertion has turned into frames, if you remember...). That will go down each time ytou take an action, according to the frame cost (still listed as exertion costs in the rules, though you will note I am slowly updating those rules).

As there are no long such things as rounds or turns, I will do the 'Current Situation' updatess at, basically, any time I think it useful, or if any of you guys ask for one. We are starting at frame 16 purely because the highest frame anyone has- Barb (with his speed of 10 added onto the roll of 6)- is 16; we always start, obviously enough, with the highest framed player.

So, everyone can take an action, just bear in mind that Barb's action will resolve first, then the Agent's, then San and Mors', and then Cloud's.

The Agent is starting from scratch, remember, and he is going to aim a punch at Cloud.

Do remember you are standing atop a bus travelling at high speed through the streets and that this may affect the fight somewhat...

(Somewhat? Try having people falling off the bus that is not an Agent!)

Heh, 'somewhat' may be a major understatement...

Barb says he'll start by firing 4 bursts at the agent. San will...do something, I'm not sure yet. Hmm...4 bursts from each gun using BGB.

(and at the moment, I have no idea when we'll actually be back on for good...but I will try to get on in the morning while I'm at school. On that note, I won't be able to get on tomorrow because I've got to meet with a teacher because they want me to design the cover for the spring sports program book...my first real graphic design job 😄)

I think if you prone the agent you could push him off the edge,
Or you could try to knock him back, and then he would fly off.

Yeah, but we've also got to save our focus...I don't want to accidentally blow all my focus and then be totally screwed.

Just as a note- if you can 'prone' someone whilst they are already prone in this fight, you will indeed knock them off the bus.

Ok, Barb rolls -4, and San rolls +2... the Agent loses three frames in all.

Hmm...I will keep that in mind...heh heh heh...

Hmm, where did Spike go? Anyway, the Agent rolls -2... a miss!

Ok, up for anyone to take an action... except the Agent, who has falled a tad behind...

U and mors should both Flip of Grasshopper him at the same time, that prones right?

Errr, no... if something Prones it is either a Push, Throw or Sweep.
