My sister's a mage and I've seen her play. Gotta say, I think I'd be annoyed playing as a mage. I suppose that in terms of soloing (which is all I saw her do) Hunters are the best (heal the least due to pet, easier to get away from overwhelming situations, high DPS, etc.). So it would likely change if I watched some raids, dungeons, or PvP. But I think I'd at least want to be able to wear leather armor...I can't stand the idea that I could die so quickly, especially with the mana crutch they have.
You can't feasibly run out of "Axe," for example. Mana, less stable.

Mages are exceptionally fun. Frost mages particularly. They have a lot of tools to not take damage. In fact, a good frost mage can seem invincible.
And Bardock, getting to level 57 takes about 3-5 days of time played, not that bad.
I find it funny how mindless fools go around saying "play WoW thats 30 days of your life gone" or "your wasting your life playing it" etc etc, the same can be said for any game, and any hobby/entertainment activity maybe i should go to football pitches or other spots and shout to the players "your wasting your life!! dont enjoy sports!"
its probably just a sad media glitch rubbed into peoples minds that if you play WoW or online games for a long time your simply wasting your life, yet you can play sports, go fishihg and do any other activity and its simply called a nice hobby.

Hopefuly the goal of the end-raid would be to kill the Dragon, not Arthas. I would hate to see Arthas being killed by 10 Grunts (which basicaly we are), if he must die, let it be in Warcraft IV.
You are hoping in vain. The end-raid will be Lich King. The dragon will likely be part of the raid, or something like that, but you will engage Lich King in combat. Wether or not he is killed is another question, but he will be fought.

also I get your jest and hidden insult in that comment but its not true in the least but whats your excuse to shout it at say...Tennis players, their not always in good shape if your talking about the ability to beat on you, they could catch you in a race but their arms are not as brute as Footballers, also you could go into Football forums, theres hundreds of them, and say it, then them being in good shape or not does not mean antthing, and if their professional the lieliness is that their so unintelligent they wouldnt understand your insults anyway 😄
