I will just go ahead and assume you are playing on a PvP server.
EvilAngel said that you should go beast until you gain Aspect of the Viper and then go Marksman. I beg to differ.
Since you are 61, you need a build that assist you in level as well as protection in case of ganking. However, ganking is often an inevitable death if you are a hunter, since you are often caught ofguard.
I would recommend following build for a more effective level build:

1. Undead is far more good than the Blood Elves and Trolls. In my honest opinion, they are the second most 'good' race in Horde.
2. The humans got additional Spirit and Perception. If anyone is junk in PvP, it is Night Elves in the Alliance.

The alliance banner is noble, the races are pure and kind looking, while the horde got a fierce banner with weapons, big brutes, mean looking elves and undeads in their team. It is VERY easy to judge them black and white. Good and evil.
I would say that your friend is less of an idiot than you are.
And in a matter of fact, the Alliance IS good. If comparing the two factions, Alliance would statistically be more good than Horde if we look at lore in depth.

1. Blood elves aruably, but i'd fight you the trolls, the darkspear tribe were and are merely trying to surive, perhaps the others trools liek Zul'Gurub etc, but not the playable tribe
2. Hehe, no way, + dodge and shadowmeld, if used correctly that infinately useful. The Priest have a no mana costing instant cast good DoT, and hunters have + bow skill.

True, but i don't remember none fel orcs keeping humans for gladiators like the humans did with the orcs. Also humans destroyed the dark portal after sending their assualt in, so many clans were trapped in Azeroth. When you look closesly humans are vicious.

Elves=most evil imo, then perhaps undead, becuause although they just want to be free from their shackles of the lich king, their creating gruesome plagues and other horrific things to kill their enemies, and hell, call em evil just because...well look at em!!!
but from all the factions i think Humans are the most cruel overall, for all their paladins and cheap talk about being pure, their still quite cruel, its because of night elves (not currently but in their story) that the world got sundered, but humans just seem cruel, Gnomes are neutral in my eyes and so are Dwarves but Dreani imo are hte kindest of races in the game

1. All races are trying to survive. Simply because Darkspear Troll is having a harder time suriving than most others, doesnt make them good simply because they take allegiance with the Horde 🙂
2. An extra DoT is good, but an epic priest has more use of 5% extra Spirit than an extra dodge. Also, the Desperate Prayer is an exceptional PvP ability. +Bow is good, but hardly a PvP racial.

The orcs brought destruction upon Azeroth the moment they walked trough the gate. They trough violence stole their land, food and water. They killed not only soldiers, but women and children. I imagine that after the humans had to defend themselves after that assault, they are pretty sceptical to ever trust an orc again.
The only race that is pure good is the Draenei. This does not mean that good is based on how a race is compared to the draenei. Goodness is something you earn trough time. The Night Elves sure have earned their title of being good. The taurens prove their goodness over and over again. As does the dwarves.
EVERYONE wants to survive. The troll admit that they want to destroy their enemies. The orcs have spies all over the alliance, that report to the orcish war council daily.
The humans, just like the Orcs wants to end this war as quickly as possible. But due to a complicated past, a comfortable alliance can never again be formed. Not for a long time at least.
The orcs is not as angelic as you make them appear to be. In Rise of the Horde, Thrall said with quite precise words "Now that the draenei is taken into the alliance, all hope for peace is gone"
