"Then ya'd owe me more." Sonia said rather matter-of-factly.

"You have a point." Elrohir conceded. He told the waiter he'd have a sundae.

Sonia smiled. "I was just joking. You could have had one of my milkshakes."

"No, I promised you three milkshakes, and three milkshakes you shall have." Elrohir insisted, pointing a finger at her.

Sonia laughs softly. "Okay, but are you trying to fatten me up?"

Elrohir did his best to look as appalled as humanly possible. "Of course not!" he raised an eyebrow. "Maybe I just think you look cute when you eat milkshakes."

"You've never seen me eat a milkshake." Sonia said teasing him.

"Give me five minutes." Elrohir replied. "We'll see."

Sonia blushed ever so slightly. "Okay, maybe." she says.

Elrohir smiled.
A few minutes later the waiter showed up with the food. Elrohir pointed his spoon at Sonia "Now let's see you eat aaallll three of those."

"I've had practice." Sonia says starting on her first which was gone in four minutes.

"I admit defeat." Elrohir said, watching her with amazement.

Sonia licked the extra milkshake off her lips. "I haven't started on the other two."

"I know when I'm beaten." Elrohir replied, eating some of his icecream.

Sonia laughed softly and slowed down on her second. "Descartes use to challende me to races and we'd drink until milkshake came out my nose."

Elrohir promptly dropped his spoon and sweezed his eyes shut. "Ewww. Did NOT need that mental image."

"Sorry." Sonia said blushing a deep crimson.

"it's fine." Elrohir assured her. "Did you win? The contests with Descartes I mean."

"No, never did."

"Never?" Elrohir said incredulously. "Find that hard to believe."
