The Yule Ball

Descartes shook his head. "Never." he says smiling before deciding where they should sit. He pulled Maik's chair out for her.

Maik laughed and thanked him and took a seat. "Oh, I'm sure you've been up to something, you usually are."

Descartes laughed.

Maik smiled. "See? I knew you were up to something. So what is it?"

"Seriously Maik, nothing." Descartes says. "Just thinking."

"Alright." Maik replied. "What shall we eat then?"

"MMM, lasagna sounds great." Descartes says licking his lips.

Maik smiled happily. "Sounds great to me."

Descartes nodded. He oredered for both of them before Maik got an owl.

Maik wrinkled her nose at the owl and detached the letter from its leg, opening it up and reading it to herself.
