The Yule Ball

Sonia sighed. She stood and usted her robes off before sitting again.

raven sat silently with holly under the table, then raven noticed harry just walked in. raven muttered "bloody h*ll". raven then crawled on her hands and knees across the floor she was trying to stay out of sight. when raven finally made it to the table where harry sat down she tugged at his pant leg. harry looked under the table and said "raven, why you down there?" raven pulled harry down underneath the table and said "shhh! I'm hiding from sonia and courtney....." harry just looked at her and smiled. raven said follow me, raven then led harry back to under the table where holly was still hiding.raven and harry then squeezed under the table and sat in silence with holly.

A bark of laughter came from Sonia. She was smiling at Courtney who seemed equally happy. "The great one will return."

"Oh yes, and we will be his right hand henchman. All will bow before him." they clinked their glasses toger and laughed.

raven gasped and harry looked at her, he put is hand over her mouth and said "shhh!". raven looked harry and said "didnt you hear what they said?.....I think they mean lord Voldemort"...harry sat up and not realizeing they were still sitting under the table hit his head really hard. the table shook and made a thud. raven looked at harry and said " keep silent" harry looked at raven and gritted his teeth and said " sorry" raven said "its okay....and um, is you head alright". harry looked back at raven and said "yeah, I will be fine".

"I could imagine potter's face now" Courtney said. "Sonia how could ya betray us like that?"

Sonia chuckled. "It was quite easy, scarface."

The two continued on.

raven looked over at harry, her face was full of terror. harry put his arms around raven in attempt to comfort her. raven also put her arms around harry and said "whats going on?". harry shook his head in disbelief and said "I don't know"

Courtney sighed. SOnia shook her head. "Why are we such loosers. Joking about joining the dark lord. You know we'd be the one holding him down when potter nails him for good."

raven was so mad at what sonia and courtny were saying about harry and the dark lord. raven said to harry and holly...."if they dis harry one more time I'm going out there"...harry looked at raven and said "no".

Courtney shook her head. "Harry's nice though."

Sonia shrugged. "Don't talk to him. I guess he thinks he's to good to do so."

raven said thats is raven sat up and tried to make move for it but harry pulled her back by the waist and said "No! its worth you getting hurt over just sit here and listin".

Courtney shrugged. "You're a ravenclaw. Maybe he thinks you're snobbish and wouldn't reply."

Sonia shrugged.

raven really started to get frustrated she didnt understand how harry could just sit there and not do anything.

"Ah well, drink up. We'll need it for the trial. The ministry will get a kick out of it." Sonia said.

raven just mumbled "what??"

Courtney shook her head but downed her. She hiccuped. "Son, ya know. This could be good if you look on the bright side."

Sonia scoffed. "Yeah, bright side. What bright side. I'm being tried with my parents."

raven eyes grew real wide and then she gasped....harry looked at her and said "you know whats going on?!?!?!?" raven looked at harry and said in a tense voice "oh,...I have an idea"

When their butterbeers were gone courtney and SOnia were wasted. Sonia laughed loudly.

raven who still sitting under the table with harry and holly said "I gotta go to the bathroom" harry said "just hold it, you dont want them to see you"....raven said "okay" and tried not to think about it.

Courtney then passed out. Sonia smiled and took her cloak off. She covered her friend before following suit.

Mai suddenly sat bolt upright as a terrible cold gripped her chest. "Aslan!" she gasped "Dementors! Aslan....."
