The Yule Ball

Sonia looked into the cell. She had no clue where all the dementors were but they weren't there. The huberts were inside. "Mom, Voldemorts has taking Mrs. Higgs!" Mrs. Hubert gasped. "he wouldn't. Look. okay." she took a piece of paper wrote down directions to a place then handed it to her daughter. Sonia smiled. "Thanks, Mom." with that She and Courtney ran down the corridor and accidently into Harry, Holly, Raven, and Maik.

" So. What do we do now? " Maik asked. She was feeling extreemly frustrated with herself. What good was being an Auror if she couldn't even STALL Voldemort?

Courtney and Sonia got up. Without answering the Maik's question they followed the directions.

raven looked at holly harry and maik and said "lets follow them."...."I know this simple spell that will make us invisible only we can see each other but they wont be able to". raven pulled out her wand and made herself,harry maik, holly all invisible. then she said "come one lets follow them"

SOnia and Courtney stopped at a very old looking Mansion. They walked in and up the large stairs. They walked all the way to the left. Courtney moved a picture off the wall. It was big enough to hide a doorless doorway in the wall. Sonia went first then courtney.

The smell of dust feilled there lungs and nostrils making them strain not to cough or sneeze.

" Why can't evil people ever hide in clean well lighted places?" Maik grumbled under her breath as she followed the others. She hoped this time she'd be able to do something more helpfull than get stuck in the floor.

At the end of the pitch black hallway there was a little light. Sonia and Courtney moved towards it. They knew what they were doing would get them in deep shit with the ministry ut they had long stopped caring.

Maik leaned over to Sonia and whispered " Do we have a plan, by any chance?"

raven walked in front of holly, maik incase they might encounter danger. that way raven could save them.....raven also tried to walk in front of harry but he kept the same pace as her. raven continued holding her wand out preparing herself for a possible incoming attacker.

Sonia it back a gasp. She shook her head. She stepped into the light. Courtney followed and stopped. She looked at all the figures...deatheaters.

"Told you they would come master." one told the center figure who chuckled it sounded more like gasps for air.

Maik stiffled a sneeze as they walked farther into the hallway, wondering how she had gotten herself into this mess.

Ms. Higgs was sitting in a chair. She was ound to it and was currently out cold. Courtney ran to her mother. The deatheaters parted for her.

Sonia glared and walked slowly towards Courtney.

Maik suddenly felt verrry nervous

Courtney glared as she hugged her mother.

Maik hands shook as she pulled a pack of gum from her pocket and shoved a piece in her mouth. " Wanna piece, Raven?" Maik offered her the gum shakily

The dark figured walked over and held Ms. Higgs chin. "Isn't she a fighter. "Of course anyone of my blood would be."

Courtney glared. "What do you mean your blood?"

sure maik....thanks. raven stopped and waited for maik to hand her a piece of gum. but harry walked a little further then he turned around and said "um....its surrounded by death eaters in there and..." harry gripped his head in pain..."and so is voldemort" he said. raven gasped and looked at maik and said "omg"

Sonia stood in between Voldemort and Courtney and her mom. "i do not know what you are trying to accomplish, ut you will fail."

" We should never have come." Maik held her wand at the ready as a bead of sweat fell down her forehead
