The Yule Ball

Courtney growled. This was takking to long. "Must warn Sonia."

raven, said " You may only warn sonia in fornt of us.....I cant trust you"

Maik put another piece of gum in her mouth and turned to find Sonia

Courtney sighed. She felt the spell lift and then went to find Sonia. She ran ahead of the others. She finally found Sonia with Luke. Courtney fell to her knees beside her friend and hugged her.

Sonia looked at her friend. "What's wrong?"

Courtney started crying. "I am so sorry, Sonia. The darklord took his frustrations out."

Sonia didn't understand. Then it hit her. "Mom? Dad?"

Courtney nodded. She watched as Sonia bit her lip to stop from crying..

Holly patted their backs as they cried.

Courtney looked up at Holly. "thank you."

"Your welcome," she said with a smile.

Courtney looked at Sonia who now stood with blind Rage. She stalked through the door with Courtney following her.

"Sonia! Wait!" Maik ran after her and blocked her path. " You can't do this alone!"

Sonia sneered. "I don't care. Don't get in my way." she said shoving passed Maik.

" NO!" Maik stood in front of her again. " What if he kills you too?!" Maik's eyes were beginning to become red again

Sonia sighed. "What reason should I live? Look I have to get it out of my system and technically I'm not alone. raven's hunting him down too."

" What do you mean, what reason?! More reason than Voldy! Think! You cannot simply run in there alone!"

Sonia sighed. "You don't know what it's like. I have to prove...I have to kill Voldemort."

" Don't I? I'm an auror!!! Don't go without us."

"Look, Maik, you are an aroura. You don't walk down the street hearing people whisper aout your parents killing. I have to do this myself." She said slinging the door open.

Maik stepped in her way again, her eyes red now. "NO! I just spend sleepless nights hunting Voldemort's servants! Don't go without us!"

"If you don't let me pass. I will have you charged with kidnapping." she sneered. "Maik, you don't even like me. I don't fear death and I definately don't frea Voldemort." she said sidestepping Maik.

" Kidnapping? Be logical Sonia! I'm trying to help you! And how would you know who I like?"

"By the way you act." she said as she walked off to the left. She stopped Holding her wand she muttered a few words in latin and A fiery red butterfly appeared. It fluttered low enough for SOnia to see it. As it moved she followed.
