one thing I've wondered about this movie; the part of Gibb was originally going to have been played by Lauren Lee Smith (Emma in Mutant X). She had to drop out due to scheduling commitments.

Does anyone think that the film would have been better if she had done it?

For playing Gibb, Katharine Isabelle is better suited for the part. And no, that doesn't put her at any level above a D-list actress as far as her acting ability goes. I don't like many young actresses (and we won't name names), but I like her.

New Line DOES NOT own ANYTHING related to the "Evil Dead" franchise. Not a single THING! As I mentioned before, the "Evil Dead" title belongs to Dino de Laurentis, while Campbell and Raimi own the "Ash Williams" character. Lastly, the film library distribution rights belong to Anchor Bay.

I'd honestly love to see this "proof" of yours., because I am SOOOOOOO utterly embarassed! Oh my god, look at the egg on my face!!
