well the spurs and Knicks are out so that leaves T Wolves Kings, Nets Pistons, Lakers, i believe that the lakers have used up their drive against spurs also the lakers did poorly against both Kings and T Wolves in the reg season, and lately seeing how low western conference scores have been i believe an eastern conference team could win it this year? maybe pacers or nets who knows.

That Peeler shot was brutal. First he elbows Garnett in the gut. Garnett gave him a slight elbow in the chest on the way back but Peeler's elbow to the face was a little extreme. I hope he is suspended for that. Smart of Garnett not to kick his ass, which would have been justified.

whooo tough question..i don think neither has a shot...kings might if they had a healthy team but they got too many people hurt so the wolves got a better shot but if they kings had a 100% webber, miller, and jackson than i think they could beat the lakers

Lakers get the T-Wolves and finish in 5. Then KOBE'S 1st Finals MVP against the PACERS. and Ernie"elevator" Johnson un-becoming a dork.

Individually the matchups are killer, but as a team effort the Wolves or Kings COULD pull something off. Obviously its in favor of the Lakers but if either of them can play good TEAM defense, then they have a chance. If not, well, Lakers will be champs again.

What do you mean there was no contact? Did you not see it? It was an elbow directly to the jaw. I'd call that contact.

contact was definitly there on that elbow. Peeler needs to be sat for the next game after that.

As for the Lakers, i think they can get pretty torn up by Sacramento or Minnesota, but I don't see either of those teams beating them in a best of 7. The Lakers won't lose 4 out of 7 to anyone now that the Spurs are gone.
