then you suppose well your supposition...but however in supposing my reply, i suppose your response in supposing thus said post cannot be said in subposition thereby one cannot impose the response of 'supposing' the remark in regards to replying no matter how resplindant(sp) the explication of exposing the answer... 😛

you're going to confuse yourself. be carefull!

Oo Oo Can I join too? I just got here, but I'm an Elf!!

If it makes my plea any more believable, my real name is Simelwÿn, which my mother concocted off of LOTR when she was my age lol... 😱 She loved the books and had her own little obsession thing going about the Elvish language.... So when she had me...Simelwÿn just kinda came out of the blue, produced from years of Elvish study that was absolutely unnecsessary.

But anyway...that makes me an Elf, right? 😆

I am also the first to welcome you to the Elves' Club 🙂

Welcome to the Elves club, Simelwÿn 🙂

What does your name mean? I mean, it just came out of the blue, but if it's produced from years of elvish study - what are the roots of the name? And what language is it? *curious* - related to Simbelmyne?

I really will have to ask...I'm not sure.

Howevre, without even noticing it, I have used "Simbelmynë" a lot as a screen name. I guess it might be closely related. I'll ask my mom and see what she says. I'll get back to you I promise lol...

🙂 🙂

Yea, sounds exactly the same or like a slightly more modern version of it - mb reduced to pure nasal m, final e moved to diaeresis over the y... though... is the ÿ supposed to be a somehow umlaut y or a clearly pronounced y?

confused again....

😂 lol why that?

um... everything?
IT'S MY BIRTHDAY!!!!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!!!

The "ÿ" does not sound like "y", it sounds more like "win"...I don't know lol...I loved LOTR but I haven't done studying on the Elvish language...My mother told me that the name was derived from Simbelmynë, but that she made it up. She says she wanted it to mean "starry eyed". 😕

Cool 🙂 🙂 🙂 😱 You're lucky having such a beautiful name 😱

And what language exactly is it? *curious*

My mother is standing right here laughing at me. And you guys, lol...she says that it isn't a specific language, but that she completely made it up. She says that she did mean it to be a form of "Simbelmynë", but that the way it looks was just meant to be Elvish, that's all. Nothing more, she repeats. Ugh. Okay she's gone...you'll have to excuse her...she's going crazy 🙄 lol...No, not really, but she doesn't know what exact language it is, just what she meant it to mean, so...maybe it's her own little language. "Starry eyes"...I like that. 😄
