Not when they bring an army, no.

This has always been an issue with the Dark Siders, as their downtime between the first and second campaigns mentioned- they can kill but they can't rule. They can kill pirate chiefs but don't have the support to rule pirate clans, and the same holds true for the Serpent- which is a galactic organisation anyway, and still vastly powerful.

In any case, you can't even hold the citadel! More enemies are going to keep coming.

So yes, one problem Dark Siders have is a lack of political power- or ability.

So we should have allied ourselves with one of the people in power here from the beginning, but nobody really supported my idea, even with Yago.

Ushgarak, the main problem is that it takes time and careful preparation to control criminal organization, not just killing the leaders, right?

And another problem: if we establish a power base then Jedi/Bureau would learn about it sooner or later, and destroy any organization we control, even if it would be overlooked otherwise.

What if we just run to Outer Edge/Unknown Regions and try to establish power base there? Could it be a good idea?

Oh, you weren't there to control the Serpent; it was an extended smash and grab. Trying to control th Serpent is like trying to control the Hutts- on that scale, it is not very practical for you.

Sidious goes straight for the throat with the Republic, of course, but he's the Sith boss and it took him decades.

The rest of your logic I totally and utterly agree with- it is exactly what you must do. The point of the new storyline is that the Bureau forces you out of the Republic.

Also, wasn`t Palpatine actually very popular at the beginning?

Seen as the strong man who will heal the Republic and end the rule of Corporations?

I don`t think any of us could pull it off and fool even the Jedi.

No, none of you are good enough to survive in the heart of the Republic. You are all criminals and renegades by default- lethal one to one, but ultimately, for now, powerless on a Galactic scale.

Opportunities will come- Rand had a Manifest Destiny vision about it.

If we go anywhere in the Republic now the damn Osokans will try to hunt us down.

....stupid pigs....😠

And my luck finally ran out....which I figured would happen eventually.....

Farewell, Master Rand. We knew him not well. rip

except he's not dead... or something,
He's still alive, possibly!

Dammit Ush, you just WONT let me watch the Darkies Implode due to internal strife.

That was....confusing....with Rand being dead but then not dead....😑

*sings*

I won....I won.....

(yes, Rex and I counted our kills, and I beat him 😛)

Only by two! Gallador stole my mooks, and then took the Champ from me! 😠 😛

Haha, sucks to be you! 😛

That fight both seriously sucked yet was fun at the same time.

Yup...

(plays godly, holy music when Rand suddenly stops being dead)

That part was just very, very odd.....

Indeed.

Galder wants explanations for why the leader didn't die!

'cos everyone was so downbeat.

Besides, the story had already said otherwise. Stupid plot.

Galder's simple mind is confuzzled...

In what way has this confoozleing confuzzling maifestilated itself?

Because he was dead and then he wasn't.......

😑

So, the Dark Side resurrected Rand? 😖
