Either way, I'm better than thou. 😄

And that's why Rex is a Darkie. 😄

Well, aside from the mad, rampant killing and the pissy attitude, but those are kinda after-effects, too.

Whew! This game is making my brain hurt. Thinking circles around these problems is tougher that I though it'd be.

If you look at things in a straightforward way, the Imperials will always have the edge.

It's the AT-ATs. They're magical. 🥷

Well guys time has flown by quite a bit.

I'm reporting to football camp tomorrow and my posting ability is going to be gone for the next three weeks. I may be able to get on every few days to check but don't expect alot of posting from me.

So have fun guys.

Early work on the new PT STar Wars rules (and hence also storylines) is continuing, based on the success of the Matrix system, which in turn is the most accessible way to re-introduce Force powers in a non-broken way.

News is at this point:

- Unlike the Matrix, characters will have in-built Defence, so you can charge down those Battle Droids. Masters are best at this

- Talking of Masters, right now they don't have a higher Sabre rating than other templates, but other than higher defence they will have very potent powers available- looking at the Matirx system for your examples, they will have 'Path' equivalents that do a lot of work for them.

- Swordsmen (and equivalents) will get +1 to all sabre pools, as Fighters and Gunners in The Matrix get +1 to their MA and Guns pools respectively. This makes them the most offensive characters now, for the real Maul feel. This has been made possible by extra skill in the matrix system not being quite as devastating an advantage as it was in the old system.

- Right now there are about ten force powers and several Blade oens, all running off the same system as in Matrix. I am sure you cna imagine ways in which the 'tap' system will work well here with, say, Force pushes.

- The swapping system is in, though whether Refresh will work like the Matrix is yet to be seen.

I cannot confirm right now that all templates will be carried across, but in some form it is hoped they will be so.

*cringes*

Hopefully it all converts smoothly. I was enjoying the system we had, must be said.

I agree with Rex, the last system worked very well. We just sucked at utilizing all of it sometimes... 😛

Though I DO like the idea of Swordsmen 'saber bonuses...

Yeah, I like that too.

It was still fundamentally broken.

In any case, I take it that this does away with Blade Tricks, Gun Tricks, yada yada yada? Hmm, should be interesting. How will Galder's superiority over the standard template be represented?

Oh, the xp will be chucked in.

Well... It turns out his superiority was only in his mind. He is going crazy after all.

Liar. Galder's a damn prodigy. He's just going mad so fast that it won't be worth much. ...sigh...

Yay insanity! 😄

Galder = not mad or dead by the end of Episode IV

Galder = high body count and victorious over insanity?

That was Rand, actually...

This is the part where you all apologize for not wishing me a happy birthday. schmoll

Minus the California Crew. tongue_ss
