I can agree with that. It's not Esgabath's fault his brother wasn't performing to his standards. If anything, he would have done them a favor by taking over.

...I really wanna be a Darkie again...

Your free trader wants to fall from grace, perhaps? It can be....arranged, I am sure.

Wow, you sound just like a Lightie. 😛

Hmm... what would be in it for him, oh Commissar?

Hmm.... what does he want? Rank, money, safety from persecution, power to screw people that stand in your way, women... true sense of comradership and healthy atmosphere of working towards common good? No, I think that we can live without the last two, yes?

We offer a Standard AT-AT with interior upgrades optional. We'll even throw in an Imperial Star Destroyer and crew if you give us the Rebel Base 😛

He gets all that after we win at Endor, and including the last two. eyes

Well I have always wanted my own AT-AT... does it come with a leather seat option and a holodisk player?

Yes as well as a roadside navigational device, along with the biggest boom box in the Galaxy.

Oh a new feature we included was cruise control

Gotta be careful to not drive drunk though. The Empire can be pretty harsh on that.

Yeah, plus whatever city you've totaled... ermm

Yeah that is why we are going to add a TOM TOM GPS system to your AT-AT

I just pictured the commercial for that.

"Darth Darth, which way to the shield generator?"

So. Is the current situation, so beneficial to the Imperials, a set up or a mistake?

I'm sure we could have prevented this somehow... but I'm betting it was something we didn't even think of, like the raptor egg situation.

We didn't keep tabs on the starport, otherwise we could have seen Esgabath landing and stalled him.

Heh, we'd like to know the same...

All part of Commisar`s genius masterplan of course..... it is just that my plan was flexible and had to be adapted to tiny changes of situation.... It isn`t like Palpatine didn`t have to improvise as well....

And Commisar was certainly very determined not to fail his Boss. If leaders of Rebel Alliance were executing their undelings for failure, I am sure Rebels would be better motivated as well.

Ush, I am unlikely to post much till the weekend, because of real life issues( for example if there is a need to make a long speech, etc.)

Ah, but then the Rebel Alliance would never have broken off in the first place, if they were executing their underlings and civilians. They'd have nothing to complain about, because they'd be doing it too.

But then...I'd have no one to stomp on.

The failure was political.
